In 80s I came across Pakistan Year Book in local University library. The year book is Pak Official. It blatantly showed Mysore territory colored in Pakistan color and declared Islamic as intended by Tipu. The sultan’s rule was never accepted by people and never even considered as home grown. He was a clever Muslim fanatic with military power and ambition. The self anointed Sultan’s father was a General in Mysore Maharaja army. He cleverly usurped the kingdom and passed it on to his tyrannical ambitious fanatic son on whose grave stone is inscribed that he is soldier of Islam. All his power he used to Islamize Mysore.
