Bartender in Houston here - every time someone opens a new bottle of angostura it’s tradition we all take a shot of it as a team. It gives the bottle breathing room since a full bottle of ango dashes extremely slow.
y'all gotta try the trinidad sour or trinidad especial! both of them are ango based cocktails and really well balanced with the other ingredients in the drinks!
Majoofi I imagine "Bracing" would be a great description of how this would taste. Maybe one day I'll take a shot ....you know for education:) We all know I've done worse ....for science :)

don't know where it is but i've done shots of ango in SF. it's quite bracing, but not awful.

The G in Genever is pronounced like a J in Spanish or a Ch in German so it's hard to pronounce for English speaking people
