Growing up here in Australia in the 80s was by far the greatest era of my life. This video was such an incredible trip down memory lane into my childhood. Thank you so much.... now I'm off to listen to my 80s playlist...yet again 😁
Will take a while to get the smile off my face. All those songs I listened to endlessly at home - and then when I was backpacking through Australia twice in the 80s. Fell in love with the country. Still am. Been living here for 20 years now and a proud citizen for 18 of those!
I used to live in Australia for a very long period of time and love Australian music and their culture. I had the chance to see many Aussie and international concerts while living in Sydney. I love you, Australia, for giving me the best time of my life that I will never forget.
Awesome, what an amazing compilation video of Australian and New Zealand artists. This video truly brings back the memories! Stay Gold, Australia's Retro Man.

But cheers mate, bloody good.

Hunters & Collectors "Throw your arms around me" not being included makes me sad. Could have also used some songs by The Church and Hoodoo Gurus. The Saints, Lime Spiders, and DM3 would have made my day, but wasn't expecting any of them here.
@drag0nfly_girl Throw Your Arms Around Me by H&C was in 86 I believe. All of the others I mentioned were 80s as well, except for DM3... shouldn't have included them as they were 90s.

Here’s some few canadian hits I know, My Girl (Gone, Gone, Gone) Chilliwack, Innocence Harlequin, You're A (Strange Animal) Gowan. A Criminal Mind Gowan, And I Did It For Love By Harlequin
Oddly enough, I came across this on a US TH-camr's "reaction" video (Ryan Was) - the 80's was my "era" when I was 19 - 29 years old. Funny thing is - I do not remember a single Jason Donovan song - all the rest, yes - did Jason Donovan actually put this list together himself?
