thanks for the video! doing this one a friends e36 tomorrow and could not find a solid visual representation of the actual work being done and others saying that half shaft needing to be undone as well as the full exhaust needing to be dropped which I thought otherwise! much appreciated man
Carpythesharky yeah man ! went solid ! installed the adjustable kit from turner on there and fixed his squatted camber from lowering it. just a tip for anyone else doing this. to get to the carrier bolts you have to drop the inner rest sway bar links to get your ratchet in there. other then that you can get it done completely
I'm not entirely sure, but if I remember correctly the passenger side camber arm just comes right off, 2 bolts, no problem. The driver's side is harder and requires basically what I did in the video, just different pieces and bolts to undue since it's a different car. You do need to drop the exhaust a bit, but other than that I am pretty sure you can keep the diff, swaybar, drive shaft, and all other suspension parts in place. Don't hold me to that though lol, I haven't done this on an e46 before. Good luck.
THIS IS THE BEST STRAITFORWARD VIDEO ON THIS TOPIC
Thank you for the nice, simple and straight to the point video! Massive help :)
Thank for that demo on how to get that bolt out
