Don't watch StuTheIdiot's video... Here's the real solution- 1. Turn OFF Power 2. Open the print head bay (as though you were about to change inks) 3. Turn ON power 4. Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left and let it go past half way 5. Before print carriage reaches left hand side (but after going halfway across) shut the cover. 6. Leave the Printer turned on 7. Good to go. This fixed my printer after my third attempt. So keep trying if it doesn't work the first few times.
Did exactly as the user Charles Marcus suggested 4 yrs ago and it worked on the 1st try! I thought I needed a new printer😲 Charles Marcus for President!!!!👍
It took a couple of times, but it worked, I don't know why and I don't care, but you have my thanks for saving me much time and money! Thank you Charles!
Charles, your process worked perfectly the first time! Thanks so much as I had just put in new cartridges and did not want to waste them. The Canon people said they do not make the MP640 anymore and they had no other printers that use the same ink (of course). In general, this has been a very good printer up until about 20 mins ago, so hopefully I will be able to use it at least until I'm out of ink again.
So, the video is crap - but, Charles, my hats off! I had to go thru the procedure twice then figured that my ink had dried out, replaced the ink, went thru intensive cleaning, did not work, replaced the print head (had an old one available from another MX870 that had died with ink absorber issue after 46.000 prints - not worth repairing) and now everything works like a charm! Thanks so much! So, the reason was the dried out ink that destroyed the print head and let to the B200 error. For me, your fix worked perfectly!
Doesn't anyone know what this B200 error code actually means. So what have I learned from watching all these videos? that B200 is not unique to my printer MG5350 and it seems to be related to the print head. many people selling replacement printheads on e-bay but not for MG5350. Q. Why would a simple power-on routine like this correct a hardware malfunction? A. if the error code is in reality erroneous, ie caused by faulty system programming, or perhaps deliberate faulty programming designed to increase sales of new printers? who knows. What is the use of information if it is not backed up by real knowledge?
Well, maybe the idiot in the video kind of helped convince my printer to let Charles' solution work. Tried it 3X, did not work. so, googled to this video, and while the guy fumbled and mumbled (is there rum in that coke can?) I tried Charles' thing one more time and it worked. So thanks.

Charles Marcus you are the man ! Your printed solution worked perfect and was very clear and easy to understand.

Crazy!! That totally worked! I was about to go through a 5 step process!! Thank you!
I can't believe that Charles' thing worked but it did. The first time too. Makes no sense why that would have worked but GOOD JOB CHARLES!!!
I take it back - it worked to get back to the main menu but then thew the B200 code again. I fixed it by buying a Brother color laser.
thanks charles....your solution worked 1st time!
Thanks Charles Marcus! It worked the first time
How many times did he say, "B200 Error"?
Thanks Charles your steps are spot on.
Could you tell us what error this is for, again? Not sure I caught it the first 500 times.
Good question Ken
Charles' fix worked for me. First try. THANKS!

Why would you post this?!
Don't smoke too much stuff while creating youtube clips.
Why would you post this? That's 4 minutes of my life I'd like back
You could've probably summes up the whole video in one part.
Just get to the point!
dude, you gotta edit this shit
STUTHETECH: IF YOU WANT TO HELP US, LISTEN TO CHARLES MARCUS AND DON'T MISINFORM US. THANKS.
people should have to pass an IQ test before they are allowed to post videos
Get to the point. Too much talk that has nothing to do with fixing the problem.
Dude. I think I’m getting sea sick 🤢
