I have been using Corsair HS50 and I have to say its one of the most uncomfortable headphones I have used. HS50 have tight clamping force and the padding isn't good enough so after 3 hrs max you will start to feel the heat and pain on your ears. Trust me this a really really let down. This isn't meant for long sessions and now coming to the sound quality it really good as well and the built quality is also superb with it minimalistic looks. Coming to JBL Quantum 300, oh yeah this is much more comfortable than HS50 at least 3-4 hrs of extra gaming session on this. The bass isn't over powering other sectors of the sound. Everything is crisp and clear. Personally I haven't find the ear piercing effect what the TH-cam has mentioned. The gloss finish however attracts a lot of fingerprints. The built quality is good enough not as great HS50 though. The surround is really good once you configure and yeah its really useful in games like pubs because of spatial direction is easily recognised and distinguishable.There is no heating as I have continuously used it for 6hrs straight and its really comfy as well. Overall I have to say both offers really good sound quality, but the final questions are you gonna buy a headset and sacrifice your comfort and also bear the pain on your ears as well. If so go for HS50, else if you want comfort also along with whatever I said go for JBL Quantum 300. Thats my review of the both. P.S : Hyperx Cloud Stinger is better and I own quite few headsets, so yeah I guess im qualified to review this

It's not available anymore. Only old stocks. it is easily one of the best headsets under 10k for both gaming and music. It has been replaced with MH6.. Series. The main problems is the cable and lack of sub bass rumble and extension. All other aspects are top notch.

7.1 on headphone is just a marketing BS. Its better to go for a good stereo headphone like hs50 and invest on good software like Dolby atoms for headphones(windows sonic is junk IMHO, hesuvi still does a better job but dolby guys nailed it)... saying from my own personal experience

since the s50 is out of stock, the quantum 300 will have to do. 300 and 200 are currently the same price at the moment, so the 300 is better value even if the usb is just a gimmick.
My 300 usb dongle stop working after a year of use, nothing to worry about just plug it in another dac. 7.1 on JBL is quite useless in Apex and warzone in my opinion
I love everything about the corsair hs50 except that you cant change the earmuffs even then, its one of the most best headphones i have ever touched the mic is okay but i have had worse ones, and music sounds very good on it too plus, you can wear it in public cus it looks very normal, unlike the corsair VOID which makes you look like an idiot
Wasn't a fan of this, but in 2K I guess it's good. I just don't like treble boosted headsets personally. Quantum 100 at cheaper price would be better I guess, it also has a better and removable mic.
I had quantum 200's and my brother had quantum 100's...... the plastic that connects the earcups to the headband is very cheap and broke in less than six months...... not once did the headphones ever fall or were treated roughly.... DON'T BUY THESE HEADPHONES!
HS50 is better, but doesn't have removable earpads, mic on EKSA may be better, check my review of 900 Pro if you haven't already. Sound quality on HS50 is better.
Just a heads up for the hs50 I have had mine for the past 3 years they work wonderful and sound great only problem is after a year of use the mic broke and wouldnt work no matter what I tried a year laterafter that I took off my headphones and one connector piece (1:09 the black pieces by the speakers) broke a year later it has become a hassle to take care of if you are going to get these headphone dont look long term

The HS50 has a lot of headphone bleed even when the volume isn't loud which is a big drawback. I don't recommend it.
