Botanical gardens have documented records of their collection for the purpose of conservation, research, education and display. They are completely different to show gardens - different reasons for their creation. So, all botanic gardens are gardens. All gardens are not botanical gardens.

@@joetrum Hey Joe. Excellent work! I'm just disappointed that you didn't visit my garden at Andromeda Botanic Gardens - the original and authentically botanical garden of Barbados! 😊And by stating these are the top 3, that implies that Andromeda is not one of the best. It is the only RHS Partner Gardens in the West Indies, has the widest plant variety, it's historic, organic, has a butterfly haven and so much more. It really deserves to be on your top 3 list. Top 1 if you're just referring to real botanic gardens.

@@andromedabarbados I thank you for again commenting. As I remember, I asked one of the guys at Flower Forest, if Orchid Garden was worth a visit. The guy said "there wasn't much there and they are having covid issues and money trouble." So, we did not visit Orchid Garden. I did not know Andromeda existed. Sorry. Best wishes.
