Love ALL of this. Cutters, colors, aesthetic, even the music (a rabbit hole resulting in a new playlist. One question - you often use the mini-bags for flooding. Even though the sections aren't that big please tell me how many cookies can you decorate before the tiny bag is empty? Or is it just for video? It's easier, yes, but not if I have to make new bags every three cookies!

      Thank you!!
I use an outline consistency and a flood. If you notice, I outline with a tiny bag, then flood with a larger bag. They’re actually the same size bags, I just cut the tails off so they don’t get in the way.
As to how much icing is in the flood bags, probably enough to flood 4-5 cookies. These cookies were for examples for a class I’m doing locally, so I didn’t need a lot of icing. I hope that helps!

So for the rainbow. After you outlined you went right in and filled the orange color with the tiny bag. It’s THAT kind of thing that I wonder about. Filling part of a rainbow with such a tiny amount means maybe 2 cookies. I suspect it’s a “finger control for video” type of set up rather than practical. I would go insane making new small bags for every 2 cookies. As for the big bags, I get quite a few full floods that way and did see you switch when flooding a whole base. I typically do one consistently (15-20 seconds) but might start playing with outline in the cut down bag. Thanks!

@@Maiasatara I don’t have to make new small bags at all. For the orange part on the rainbow, I show outlining with the small outline bag. Then I use that same small outline bag to make a squiggle down the center - this is to avoid craters. Since this outline consistency is only used for outlines or a squiggle or details, you don’t need much in the bag. I honestly never use all the outline icing I put in the outline bags. Then I flood with a much larger flood consistency bag. The bag is in my hand so it’s hard to see the size. I’ve been making cookies for cookies for 6 years, I rarely miscalculate how much flood icing I need and have to mix more etc.

@@littlesistercookie - lol yep. With the great editing I totally thought that all three - outline, squiggle, fill - were same bag. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain. Other cookiers do what I’m describing and I guess you “lucked out” being the one who finally got my question. I also watched your soft-bite Royal video and am excited to try it.

Thank you so much for subscribing! I believe I used the 4” for everything except the love balloons. Those were the 4.5”. Thank you!!!
