Importing Gravity Networks Into Autodesk Civil 3D From Bentley SewerGEMS

- This tutorial demonstrates importing gravity networks (sewage & storm drainage networks) from Bentley SewerGEMS to Autodesk Civil 3D.
Here are the main steps :
1- Finalizing design in Bentley SewerGEMS.
2- Using FlexTables, create custom tables for different network elements (conduits, manholes & outfalls).
3- Exporting shape files for various elements.
4- Using "Import GIS Data" in Civil 3D to import previously created shape files.
5- Finally, you can view your imported gravity network in Civil 3D.

Nice video, however I prefer the "export to landxml" option: a single step to export and a couple steps in C3D to import. Thanks for the video.
hi there! please guide me as i'm a beginner, everything that did lengthy procedure did can be done by exporting and importing landxml file. So why should anyone opt for this method? am I missing anything?
