    Good info! We are US citizens, so we came to Cancun for a week without any Visa requirement, went around to see Xcaret, Chichen Itza etc, loved it. Usually we hire a car to drive around in any country on vacation but they warned us not to drive around on our own in Cancun, Mexico, so from our hotel we arranged everything and went out. Local people are very nice, most know about India and like it too :)

      Yes Cancun is a very popular tourist spot, even we enjoyed our trip there, and Xcaret night show was spectacular. Yes it’s better not to explore here if you are new and don’t know the language

    • @IndianmominMexico

      If you are looking at tourist places then most of them have reasonable AirBnbs or tourist houses with kitchen and other facilities at a reasonable price, we usually book via internet by reading the reviews. Im sure you will find one, but you need to decide on the place where you wanna go and then may be investigate more about that, because some places in Mexico are quite developed and some are not, and all places are not safe too.

    Very detailed video about Mexican lifestyle.
    Mexico has largest U.S dispora in the world still 1 U.S dollar =20.52 Mexican peso.
    Spanish is widely used language in Mexico but other languages of local people are disappeared why?
    So in future videos you will give some details about how Spanish culture impact on Mexican people.
    Gabriel garcia Marquez is my favourite novelist.his novels are famous in kerala.

    • @JorgeClavero
      @JorgeClavero 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi , I'll wait for this lovely Indian mom to summarize the answer for your questions , obviously she is very good on that as we can see in her videos, but I can advance a little on the impact of Spanish in Mexico Culture because I travel a lot and I have been asked about the same . Mexico as it's today did not exist before the arrival of European Spanish, there were different mesoamerican cultures and also semi nomadic cultures in actual Northern Mexico part of aridoamerica , since the arrivals of European 500 years ago the consolidation in a single religion and language started and viceroyalty of New Spain was formed and lasted for 300 years , after independence of 1810 New Spain changed name to Mexico , name of old capital of Aztecs and from that time the population continue to getting mixed and original natives being assimilated, so most people is mixed of Europeans mostly Spaniards and natives, Africans , etc, depending on the country region , so basically confusion is because a lot of people believe that Mexico existed as nation before Europeans arrival. I liked Garcia Marquez too and also Octavio Paz, he won a Noble prize and he mentioned that a lot of his books were inspired by Indian culture during his time as embassador of Mexico in India. I found this video about him from the Indian embassy th-cam.com/video/FYuCPy3QBVE/w-d-xo.html

      @JorgeClavero 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@romeofoodandtravel2023 it's a lot that's good that you are interested. I remember in Paris I met an Indian girl from Goa and her last name was Portuguese, it will take a long but good time to find out all the aspects of the Portuguese and Spanish influence in the colonies and viceroyalties that they consolidated from the 1500s to 1800s. It's complex since also Spain had a lot of influence of Arabs, that's es why those words Almeria and Aldalucía are of Arab influence. You will see in Latin America the influence of Spanish architecture but at the same that in that architecture you can see elements of the morisque influence acquired in Spain from the Arabs. Keep reading about It you will never get bored and the more you dig you will find more aspects of that influence and how that mixed with the culture of the natives resulted in our complex culture. I have a lot of material but unfortunately is in Spanish.

    • @JorgeClavero
      @JorgeClavero 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Mikejones-vy9dx That's correct ,New Spain was founded by Spanish crown consolidated with influencen of Spaniards, the locals , Africans and other minorities that arrived during the colony and evolved and transformed during 300 years of assimilation, in fact Mexico since foundation of new Spain has had more years of viceroyalties colony 300 years vs 200 years of independency . It's very complex to understand 500 of evolution in such short conversation but it's a good beginning.

    What is an Indian mom's opinion on Tajin and especially how they add it to fruits in Mexico?
    If you could take back to India something from Mexico what would it be? 😁

      I personally don’t like Tajin on fruits but I like it on jicama though 😀
      Oh my God!! I haven’t thought about that!! I don’t know if I would be able to take back so many things if I’m going back to India because there are many things 😀
