I was thinking while watching you trying to back the box and bar in you need a new shead but I would look into getting one that is drive through so you 1st don't have to unhook the box from the bar and 2nd you won't have to back it in just drive in and jobs done. Hate to be that guy that questions the shit you do on your own farm. With Ben, if you put the negative jumper on the chassis or a solid earth point, it would bypass the flat battery, and just power the starter with your ute's battery. So if you knew this I'm sure you tried it and there's more to the story.

Probably a non articulated tractor would be better for reversing the bar as you would only have one articulation point at the hitch
