This man has been very funny for a long time now. Thats no easy thing to do.
I feel like he's been around forever and been funny the whole time but still criminally underrated.
He was genius back at this time. He is average at best nowadays, in my opinion. Inconsistent, very frustrating. Saw him live a few years back, very disappointing
Funniest comedian I have ever seen live. And I have seen quite a few. Genius.
Cockney bela lugosi . What an absolute farkin legend 👏 🙌
Bill says he has a girl's name but it's actually pronounced bay-lah, apparently.
Don't listen to the original version by Bauhaus. Unless you are a committed Goth, you will lose the will to live.
@@Chris84409 I always struggled with setting the speed of the turntable correctly on the first go, since the first minute is nothing but percussion.
"..I've thought of all them rotten things you done and how you stitched me up..." god damn it I was eating now I've sprayed it all over my keyboard hahahahaha he is GOLD
'ne' er mind, I'll let you off' banged my head against the wall while laughing at that and the posh burd in reid
Bill Bailey parodying Billy Bragg on "Rock and Roll Chip Shop" is the best.
For me the BBC news theme on part troll was just so perfect. I had it on in the backround playing football manager with my brother who wondered why the news theme was so extended
I'll forever be stuck with a mental image of a ghost knocking on the windowpane and asking for a cup of tea, thanks to BB's take on Wuthering Heights 😂
The more I see of Bill Bailey and the amount of talent this man has just takes my breath away.
Holy cockney! An Ultravox reference! this guy is the best!
Remember when this first aired. Taped it and showed it to everyone, was obsessed
Some say that young Bill Bailey holds the answers to all the universe's secrets.
3:01 " I fought ov all dem wrong fings u dun, N ow u stitched me up" HAHAHA
He had a girl's name! This never fails, in my top ten. I can't sing any of these songs now without saying "have a banana!"
Bill Bailey is a comic genius
Bill Bailey. Sunshine in a stormy day.
I have been in many a foyer and have never seen The Greatest Cockney Rock Album. I must have gone to the wrong hotels. The quest goes on!
Lots of good pubs on the Old Kent Road…..
I never thought I'd use this sentence in any context at all ever in my life, but: Back then, he had a full set of hair.
He just took the mullet style to a new level, senior professor in the front, caveman in the back.
This is just my favourite thing lately!! I've watched it so many times and still makes me proper laugh! The little dance moves...you can really see the strictly champion potential there!
It's me I'm Kathy, I've come home, put the kettle on, av a luvly cuppa tea
I want to hear the greatest cockney metal album in the world ever from bill bailey
Honestly one of the best things I have ever seen.
Reminds me a bit of Wild Al Yonchovich’s polka covers.
@@Hellwyck Nah, that's Wankered Al Yankovich. Wild Al Yankovich is the one who does parodies of animals.
You can tell it's Bill because it's actually funny :)
Cosmic Jam has got to be my favorite DVD, Cockney music had me in stitches XD
Between this and part troll I am not sure but all his shows are worth watching and his musical mind is brilliant.
I absolutely think he is a genius
Cor blimey! Tha's one 'elluva album!
It's all about Lady in Red... Is dancing with you *cockney steps* doo doo doo *cockney steps* Makes me piss every time!
Looks like a set for The Clangers!
His lurverly cup of tea made him near fold.............Yeah brilliance.

Bill Bailey and Weird Al are not on the same wavelength but damn they are funny!
his touching tribute to the musical genius that is Chris DeBurg made cry it did...:)
"ave a banana!"
His piano has wings! :0
That would be so amazing! Best thing ever.
Haven't had a proper laugh in a long time until this video lolol :)
Only Bill Bailey would think to do a cockney version of a Bauhaus song 🤣 🤣
Classic Bill Bailey.
How Could YOU not love that!!!!?💓💓💓💓💓💓💓🎵🎵🎵🎵
Course, bananas are good and full of potassium. Always take a banana to a party.
Pure genius

thank you for the awesome words, love & recognition, I am captivated🙂. Where are you watching from?❤

Genius
The drummer is Simon's dad in the Inbetweeners
Bloody hilarious!
PML. My chest hurts laughing so much 😅🤣😅🤣
Oh my god he covered Bela Lugosi's dead xD
Wait.. I've watched this video countless times and all that time I thouht it was "Bella, the girl, she's dead"..
@FluffyLizards I think there's just something inherently funny about Cockney music, sing anything in that style (especially something that started out with a serious tone) and it becomes funnier. I think it's also a bit of a homage to Cockney rockers Chas 'n' Dave.
WOOOO BILL BAILEY WOOOOO HOOOOOOO
Bloody Brilliant 😂🤣😂
Looks young here
The Lord Of The Dance.2020
Nice Like/Dislike ratio. Bill is a very likeable man
I swear at certain angles he looks like johnny depp
I was petriphiph :D
loooool!!
And he played the alternate Bill Bailey in Spaced. AWW JEAHHHHH
Rockney.
The first ever hybrid genre.
wanna see him and tim minchin perform together!
Wasn't the real lovely cup of tea the friends we made along the way?
Eye of the tiger was a definite improvement.
Where are you looking?
It's in the middle of his head!
Is that Phil from the West Ham podcast on bass?
@damens My loins ache with anticipation
Stick it in yr' family album. even....
Tim Minchin comes to mind
nice
I’d like to see Bill do duets with Tim Minchin.
Yanis Varoufakis hasn't aged a bit. :D
I will always love you - cos you’re family, lol so London.
Everything about this is genius but the link from I will survive to we are family.... 🤣🤣🤣👌👌👌👌
I currently have a banana addiction I attribute to Bill!
I want that piano
I'm gonna get stoned and listen to gong.
🎸
I LOVE how Bill barely keeps it together through this! He almost cracks up about 5 times, shows he's properly enjoying himself
This is such a fun show as he hadn't quite got there as a smooth performer and the cracks are great
