I thought dahil lng sa vanity/narcisism kaya nagparetoke. In a sense cguro may halong narcisim din pero dahil sa nagparetoke sya mas gumanda career nya at natulungan pa ang pamilya. She's beautiful even before and after kasi mahal nya ang family nya at naging breadwinner pa sya. That's admirable.

Sometimes all that one needs is 'enhanced' self-worth in addition to affirmation and empowerment - not a drastic cosmetic procedure. As an aside, I really hope that more stringent measures will be put in place before a person can undergo such drastic cosmetic procedures bec. there are some instances in which the patient is found to be suffering from a psychological disorder (esp. body dysmorphic disorder). Once they pop, they can't stop---these are those who continue to see imagined imperfections in their faces or bodies until these become botched due to repeated, unnecessary surgeries.
