You can make and receive calls on the Apple Watch Utra. There is only one version of the Apple Watch Ultra which is the cellular one.
Making calls with the cellular Apple Watch Ultra doesn't require you to have your iPhone 14 close by. If you have a GPS Apple Watch Ultra, you have to make sure your iPhone is in close proximity to make a call.

thanks for the explainer -- in UK some carriers support cellular only on contract which is silly expensive compared to pay-as-you-go (PAYG) -- but ofc the carriers don't allow apple watch cellular on their cheaper PAYG service 🤔 (because PAYG does not support eSIM)

Think there is some glitch in Watch OS with two sim iPhone connected. When you make a phone call from the watch it shows which line you are using H for home or W for work next to the number. But when call is received there is no info which line is ringing. I use two sims and it’s annoying as I still need to look at my phone to see which line is ringing.

@@mas96 nop you wrong i have the cell not the gps i paid 15$ a month the issue happens only when you receive a call having the phone close by you then wall away the phone been talking on the watch but example if phone is at home and you call me and I’m at the store i have no problem receiving the call and talk over the watch
