Wow, it's amazing hearing this again. This was a huge hit in the Netherlands when I was a kid, and I have vivid memories of this and French Kiss being played at the ice skating rim that was the place to hang out for a 9-year old. ;) I had a crush on him too as I recall. Thank you for putting this up and having me relive my childhood for 4 minutes!
Didn’t know it was really Hobie until I was watching the episode today on Amazon Prime and Hobie says “let’s do it like we’re on MTV this time,” and it automatically cut to Mitch saying it’s time to come home. I thought 💭 to myself why would they cut this montage? They play all the other ones and now I know they don’t want to pay Jeremy Jackson for the song, lol!

While a horrible thing to do, it is not related to stalking and therefore irrelevant in this context, I think. But I do agree it is sad how he spun out of control, horrible that he stabbed an innocent woman, and the song does sound fitting for a stalker!
