I have this machine too and just love it! I sew a lot and with many different types of fabric - it has never failed me. As long as I use the correct needle for the fabric it seems to sew through everything. Great review.
I have been very pleased, even with my buttonholer with personality. I do wish the needle plate (is that what it's called) came up easier than having to unscrew the two screws when there's a jam, but there's so much other good it just isn't worth getting upset over! Thanks for watching and commenting! :D
Lara, That machine has all the features of a more expensive make. Who would have known. Wow! I'm glad you can still make the buttonhole foot work for you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to your new creations with that machine. 😃🥰🥰
I have been happy so far! I am glad, though, that I made the decision to get the 6800C and not just the Basic heavy duty. It has most of the features of my Pfaff plus many that the Pfaff didn't have because of the time period that it was made in. I guess we'll see how it runs over time, but it's definitely a win for me right now! Happy New Year to you! ❤
Thank you for the nice compliment! I've been feeling like my delivery is getting a bit better, too. The TH-cam gurus said it takes about a year (and/or 100 videos) to get your footing, so I seem to be right on schedule. With this video, though, I did end up writing it out before presenting it, and that always helps my ADHD thoughts get a little better organized. If I have time, I think I'll try to do that more. 😃 I hope you had a VERY Merry Christmas and are looking forward to happy New Year!
Merry Christmas! I bought my son this sewing machine when he was learning how to sew because he was very hard on machines and this one kept him going well!😅
Glad to hear it! I'm only about six months in on it, but it seems to have been the perfect choice for my needs! I hope you had a great Christmas and will have a great New Year!
Still going good! I can't think of any troubles I've had that weren't present in the beginning (meaning the buttonholer.) Even that isn't as big of a hassle because I've learned how to manage the situation so the buttonholes seem to be coming out okay. I would still recommend it! :D
@LaraSchiffbauer awesome, thank you so much for replying ❤️ So would you call it a truly heavy duty machine? Also, could you please make a video how to service this machine (clean and oil).
Hi!😁. Interesting that both machines would have similar issues. That makes me feel a little better. As it still works better than my Pfaff, I can deal with it! Nice to “see” you!
Hi. I had the manual version 3325, and it had the exact same problem with the buttonhole. I think Juki is a better budget friendly option. However, after switching around and around, I am now happily back with Husqvarna Viking.
Happy New Year! Interested in if this machine can use a twin needle to use with knits? Does the sewing machine have a digital stitch that you can use instead of a twin needle?
You can use a twin needle, and I believe one comes with the machine. I easily found a TH-cam video on how to use the twin needle with machine, although it wasn't very thorough about the set up. I think you'd need to download the User's Manual for that information. There are several stitches to use with knits, like the zig-zag stitch and then what I believe is called a lightening stitch, but if you want a double seam, you have to sew it twice. If I can be of any further help, please let me know! Thanks for watching and I hope your 2024 is wonderful!
@@welkein I hope it is as good for you as it has been for me. Just double check the button holer to make sure it works and keep the receipt someplace handy in case you need to send it back or get it repaired!

How is it holding up after a few months of use?
What a nice addition to your sewing area. The stitch cards are so handy. What a time saver. Enjoy.
I do like those stitch cards! Thank you so much for stopping by, watching and commenting! ❤

You're welcome! Thanks for stopping by to watch the review!👍❤
I have a Janome with a similar buttonholer and I’ve always had the same issue with it.

That’s good to know. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a Juli brand. In any case, I’m glad you’re a happy sewist now! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you so much for this video! How does the trimmer feature work? Does it cut to close to the fabric?
The trimmer leaves about an inch of thread on one side of the fabric, so there’s two little threads to trim off once it’s done cutting the thread.
And you’re welcome for the review! Thanks for watching! If you have any other questions or want clarification on anything, feel free to ask.👍
Best share my dear friend 🌼👌👌🎉
Thanks for visiting!

Merhaba, video için teşekkür ederim. Bu makineyi hala öneriyor musun? Memnun musun?Türkiye’den sevgiler, güzel günler geçirmen dileğiyle❤
I am still satisfied. For the price it is really a good little machine!
