Baav, you showing us your hiccups does not make you look bad whatsoever. It reminds us all that you are human and that you are incredibly disciplined, focused and extremely hard-working and that; yes, mistakes will happen, but you push past those mistakes and you make masterpieces. Thank you for being so incredibly transparent to show us what you go through. You are the definition of what you do! You truly do grind and you do it with excellence for such a young man. Thank you so much, Baav. It was an honor and joy meeting you today! Your focus and dedication will not go unrewarded. Praying for you and thank you for your heart and the motivation you give to us just by watching you give your all to your craft! Blessings Baav! See you again on my next trip!
Sherine, thank you a ton for the kind words!🙏🏽 it was my pleasure to meet you at the shop! Thank you for pulling up and showing love! I appreciate the support!!
Someone new to screen printing needs to see the mistakes as well. Let's them know, even the most seasoned printers go through trial and error with jobs still. Cograts on the new shop spot!
Well said! Just want to show people that trial and error is all apart of the process. Nobody is perfect and hopefully me showing my mistakes/obstacles helps people push thru. Appreciate the love!!
Grindin' ain't easy. Thanks fo showing the true story. Troubleshooting is part of the game. Can be frustrating af, but there's a great sense of accomplishment when you get it figured and done. Get that glory, son! 🙌
Wow, that is tough. We are just trying to get our company going, not professional yet by any means, and we run into hiccups ALL the time! I can't even imagine what kind of a day you had lol. I'm hoping to be able to print things as well as you do someday😁 Thanks for sharing your struggles! - a fellow artist
Strength and growth come only through continues effort and struggle. It’s all apart of the journey 🤞🏽 keep grinding!! Appreciate the love fellow artist
Man I’ve been there with both registration and colour and it really showed a lot of your patience and professionalism to not begin production until you got it dialed. Great job! 2 things that have happened to me that don’t allow me to register my screens properly are: 1. If one screen is tilted a bit too much front to back or the frame is warped the back or front part can register but not the whole image (especially if it’s a large print). 2. If I’ve left a screen to dry in the hot sun or perhaps an edge of the screen tears slightly it’ll shrink and be impossible to line up. Simple test is to hold the film positive up to the screen to ensure it hasn’t shrunk.
I’m not even into screen printing but I love to see your passion & grind! Another great video Young King….Keep on hustling and can’t wait to hear whatcha got coming up! Keep it real and I’ll keep watching….Much luv from Cali!
Great job once again young man, just a fyi take time for yourself to rest your body and mind. The GRIND will be there when you get back. p.s get some rubber mats.
Thank you man! It’s tough when shit hits the fan like it did in this video with deadlines approaching but I agree with all that you said! And your right I still need to get those mats!
Thanks for the video; great work! How often do you change the chemicals in the dip tank and where do you dispose of the used up water and chemical mixtutre?
When you coat screens how do you only do 1 coat on print side? I always do a 2 coat on print side and single coat on ink side..btw when you coat your screens they always look so clean on the edge..mines have a build up. How can I fix that?
I’ve had a screen that never registered properly , and i had to remake the screen too. I’m thinking it was a personal adobe error when making the separations. Do you make your own or do you outsource your separations
The variables are endless! That’s why it can be frustrating but in this case it was my film stretching when I was printing my seps which caused it to shift. Sometimes it can also be due to tension being off between the different screens, like you said Adobe error is up there in mistakes as well. I mainly outsource my separations
Bro, one question... if I am just starting out and plan to print and sell tshirts, should I buy a flash dryer at least or should I use a heat gun... i am assuming that a heat gun would cure the print uneven? I am planning to start with single color designs, exposure unit i can build on my own.
Excellent question, my best tip, get at least a flash dryer. When I first started I didn’t even bother using a heat gun. You can try but I would suggest getting at least a flash dryer at the least. You can find some cheap ones on amazon th-cam.com/video/RKN82eSBEUY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ewp-Nwavw0xb_RDP

Keep the original video going Baav, need to see the issues in the daily grind. We all screen printers deal with it every day. Nice to see it all.

Awesome video and great design! Question… what mesh count were you using for that large white under base?
Great video. Where did you get the squeegee handles and the screen exposure machine?
❤❤❤
What kind of paper is that you’re using to print your custom neck tags on?
👀👀
Thanks for the video; great work!

What brand is your printer, that sheet is big. On 0:34 and the gang sheet? Pls

How do you find time for production and design work?
Shit to be honest I’m fighting to find time everyday. But this design specifically was provided by the client but we handled the separations for it
Was the moon the only thing with halftones everything else vector? Great video
The car and little windows were also made of halftones

What paper and ink did you use to make the gamg sheets?! I didn’t even think about screen printing gang sheets!
Hey, this was from Ryonet both the gang sheet and the adhesive powder
