I went there this year last week of June 2024 on my Japan trip!
This is great that you are going all around the world to ride all the small worlds! I did that with Splash Mountain.
This version of iasw is basically WDW’s just with better maintenance and Disney characters.
I'm wishing they bring back the Christmas overlay. If they can do a Marvel one for a few months, then why not the Very Merry holiday one?
I love this version of this ride just not a fan of the upcoming overlay with marvel characters.

I feel my country’s “it’s a small world” is brighter than the Magic Kingdom’s one. Is it just my imagination?
They’re definitely going to replace It’s A Small World and will reopen next year as It’s A Small World with Groot and introducing Marvel Characters!
I bet the small world with groot will end up like Suzhou amusement park

Why did the small world community weren’t happy about marvel overlay? I dislike and like the marvel overlay at same time

Because they are ruining small world by making it a marvel ride and they already ruined it by adding 40 Disney characters
