I'm fascinated with innovations like flyback chronos and minute repeaters, etc., but at heart I'm a dial fanboy. Man, does GS never disappoint. Just class.
I Own one.. it's incredible the way it changes color based on the light, very light and super comfortable on the wrist, I have many other watches in my collection but this one takes its own path which makes it unique, and a watch you buy for yourself, for passion , not for show other your economic situation
and for owners who want to try something curious, useless, but very beautiful, try in complete darkness, near a wall, shining the light of your cell phone on the watch and it will project the dial with splendid color effects on the wall thanks to the reflection of the polishing of the indexes
This is a tremendous release by GS! the coveted 62GS now in smaller size... for sub 6.5" wrists, 62GS would have lug overhang... That's now addressed and the dial is also stunning!!! out of the park with this one GS!!!!
Very nice, you can really see the connection between the entry level sary right up to grand Seiko.. I don't know if that is bad or good when Seiko would obviously want a clear delineation between it's lesser models and the grand Seiko marque.. good for the common man I guess, who can have a taste of that quality on their wrist.
@@thomashuber4529 Wourn wound or Fratello I am not sure where I saw,but it's legite, late 24' or early 25" GS will have a brand new style of braclet and clasp with micro extention similar to new Tag Heuer aquaracer gmt.
Stunning as usual, unfortunately no micro adjust and the case back seems to protrude too much IMO. The rest is just perfection ! Spring drive would have been better to me, but i get it some arent fond of the spring drive 😅
Beautiful watch. But they could do away with the exhibition case back and make it solid instead, to reduce the thickness. The movement doesn't look that great anyway.
Nice watch, the problem with seiko is that you dont see the diference between a 250$ model and a granseiko at 5000...i know there is a big difference in quality but not realy in design, when you worn a rolex everybodh mnow its a luxury watch, but seiko could e a cheap nh35 mojvment and model or an expenssive gran seiko,i wkuld like more diferent design between basic models and great models, just an opinion
Fair enough. Part of the allure of GS is that there is a remarkable attention to detail and a difference in finishing. If you’re looking for others to recognize your watch, then sure, get a Rolex (nothing wrong with Rolex). But with GS, there’s a certain je ne sais quoi when meeting a fellow owner.
@@bencekollarik1 perhaps you consider the omega and rolex customer discalified for giving there opinion about gran seiko just like if it was sign of ignorance,i could also used a ulysse nardin,a zenith,a vacheron constantin,an iwc,a girard perregaux,etc...the choice in this range of price is realy impressive...but you misunderstand my point of view,i just regret the similitud between a cheap model and an expensive model in seiko brands...thats all...
The usual comment, buy a Rolex if you want to try to impress others ( although rolex does nothing to me ) , buy a GS if you want to impress yourself. Trust me there's very substantial differences between Seiko and GS... Inside-out. YMMV
@@micaljimenez7381 Any half-blind craftsman or watch collector can easily spot the difference in quality. There is no Rolex watch coming close to the craftsmanship of this hand finished Seikos. That’s just how it is. You simply don’t have an eye for quality. That’s not something to be embarrassed about. It’s embarrassing though to pretend like you do.

That dial and size is spot on

I can’t believe how expensive this is compared to that one gold cocktail time seiko came out with along time ago
this is so nice why 38mm, I wish it was 40/41
Finally, GS will have new clasps and micro adjustment in the winter of 24’.
@dado380, where did you get that « official » information from, please ?

20mm lugs! Hallelujah!
Whoa...
that's awesome
NGL the dial looks like the SARX055. Beautiful case finishing though.
I'm not a dress watch guy either but damn that is nice looking

Other brands are coming out with their own textured dials. Problems for GS in the near future?
Everything is good, except the price.
Killer.
I expect lume 😊
If only it had an orange dial. 😂
Then theyd be calling it the satsuma or hachiya dial depending on the shade
7.000,00 USD 🤔

GS is definitetly not for you. People like you should get a Rolex or Omega.
