This isn't really an asylum, they're putting deku through a type of torture call White Torture. He's put into a room thats all white. The walls are white, the floor is white, the ceiling is white, his clothes are white, the food they give him is white. And he's forced to sit in complete silence, all just chipping away at his sanity
