I've gone from wearing leather trousers about half the time to wearing vinyl trousers most of the time, my favourite are red and were from mistress rocks called Helter skelter and I wear them the most. Yes I get some odd looks but no real trouble, I think a lot of guys are envious of them! I stay in CA ( I have only ONCE been to a " rooftop party" and it certainly WASN'T that kind.( Was an intimate BBQ for a straight couple moving to NY) . I was born in Cleveland ,Oh only being in CA ONLY 16 years coming up and SF/ BAY AREA 12 going on 13 .I have been out a long time. There is something to be said for dressing how you want,expressing yourself how you want ,and ( as long as directly does not affect others) do what you want . Also being involved in the kink scene and such ,living a life of not being able to have FULL, UNEDITED CONVERSATIONS or mutual actions causes you ( or me or anyone) to start to wonder ,yet never really act because TOO AFRAID because of how comfortable your city or life is ( though constantly looking over to wonder what life might be like IS FULLY !Living IT and living in it. Which takes los of courage to embark on " That path of life" ( though very rewarding ; will be or seem very challenging to step/ jump into.). There care are also different levels of " coming out". My ( biological) sister and grandmother and grandfather knew I was into kink before they knew I was gay . And the burgundy suit is called a " boiler suit " because TRADITIONALLY had all the aspects of that suit ( buttons,style collar and such ) except the length of bottom was long pants ,not shorts. And a person that was " stationed " at manning a boiler ( steam usually ) would wear as a uniform as shoveling coal into a steam boiler on a train locomotive ,of big boat or even in a commercial building. You seem like a good guy and inquisitive ,yet also very afraid to either BE YOURSELF or to know yourself . There will always be people that don't like you and sometimes for NO REASON AT ALL or do not agree with you. DO NOT LET THAT DETERMINE you being you or getting to know yourself better as to who you are, what you believe and or will stand for or what makes YOU HAPPY ! I only edited a couple of minutes later to add that you have a good body and personality and if got a bit more secure IN YOURSELF ( even in conversation) ,you probably could do modeling .And then sure might be doing something you may like and then your kink or personal interests sometimes might even overlap ..and even if not may create a vehicle for you to ACTUALLY AND Experientially be able to live out your kinks instead of just " putting the clothes on" .
