- Suzie has the privilege of designing the nails featured on the cover of Nails Magazine May 2017 issue. Suzie recreates the design on fellow nail technician Natalie, and shares the techniques to creating these stunning nails, and also discusses ways to avoid common mistakes.

Haley Marie Jones I was a nail biter and then I saw this channel and I stopped bc I saw how hard people work on their nails
south same for me. I've bit my nails since I was 3 years old but seeing the time and effort people put into their nails or doing someone else nails helped me break the habit.
I love all he questions Natalie asks. She seems genuinely interested and looks like she really take advantage of this time to learn and grow!

Yup! I just had a set done & they were all crooked, different lengths, ugh... they were a disaster.
Before anybody asks why I didn't point it out while the technician was working on them... I did, & she kept on doing what she wanted so I decided since I'm halfway into this nightmare, might as well get the 8 hours of sleep out if it...

Btw, ur artwork is amazing, but sadly, I can’t buy anything from ur shop.. 😢😕 if I had s chance to buy something, I would choose that paper sticker thing that can help u extend the nails. My nails r rl short! But,.... I have a question for you: do u have to have that sticker under the nail to make it longer, or can u just use paper or something?

Nail Career Education that is exactly what your video's do for me, I have OCD and bipolar disorder, and it is very hard for me to quiet my mind at night, but your voice just relaxes me and I find myself falling asleep so much easier. Don't worry I watch the whole video first. You just have a sweet calming voice and spirit.

Hi Suzie. I found you through Jenna (as many have!) and although I've never ever been one for doing my nails, watching your videos and your work has been so therapeutic. This one today has brought me down from a panic attack, you are so calming to watch. You are such a talented, lovely lady and oh my gosh do you inspire me to take better care of my nails. all these little tips (like holding the nail bed when filing etc) show just how much of a master Suzie is at nails.

Your work is amazing and it should be published everywhere 😄 Secondly a quick question, is it possible to encapsulate regular nail polish underneath the clear acrylic? To "protect" and last longer? And if so, what is the procedure? We file it to softness or leave it rough after the acrylic base? Thank you!
Hmmmm i dont believe the acrylic would adhere to the polish well- if you want to preserve a colour, i would choose a coloured acrylic 😀

Joana M. S. It sounds like you just need a simple gel top coat and an LED lamp to cure it. You treat it the same as any other top coat, paint it on, then cure it.
I think you did such an amazing job Suzie! I'm so happy for you making that cover... That is such an honor! I really love the smaller flowers you used along the smile line.. on the cover photo. It kind of made it look like it was blossoming into this full garden. Just beautiful! I think it would be so cool to do a wedding set with the blush and off white ones I saw you use in your other tutorial. I love that kind of vintage chic look. With a pop of color maybe.

Just got my Nails magazine in the mail a few days ago. The cover is beautiful, the article was great! It was nice to read about the person behind the channel, her husband "Mr. Cameraman" and her thoughts and ideas. The nails themselves were gorgeous! All in all, loved the cover, loved the article about Suzie and loved this issue!
