Wow this one looks a lot easier than the puzzle I have! I have one just like this but all of the pieces are identical with 3 spikes so you can’t slide anything on it.

omg this helped me sooo much mine came with instructions but they were so hard it was only like 4 steps but you could see the blocks and there was no shading so it was hard to see where to put them

It must be wrong: All the pieces fit, but it doesn't hold at all, even if it's the first time. What's implied by this statement anyway? That the pieces wear down? It just doesn't work...
Maybe the parts are directional.
