its a shame with all the issues they faced the people who made it werent really to blame when you have all the information its clear its just a team flung into a horrid situation and trying to choose the lesser of two bad options
It is very much clear that they got screwed similar to the Blue Lock animator for those first couple of episodes. I really feel like the studios need to incentivize the animators with better pay and benefits for these work hours and stress.
@@SirensEndTV from what i understand with uzimaki the main issue is a large ammount of there team was just dismantled they were left with no people after making that first episode the other reasons i forget but basically the ones who were left just kept going to honour there coworkers the best they could despite the inability to keep the quaility without them
Uzumaki was underrated in my opinion! I liked most of the series having not watched any adaptations of Junji Ito, and now I want to watch the anthology series from Netflix. Is it worth taking a look at it?
I would say that it is alright, but Uzumaki in my opinion is the better adaptation. Go in with a grain of salt for the Junji Ito Collection as it is not the greatest, but not the worst.
I would not say this is the WORST adaptation of the year, but it is definitely a letdown. Given how many production problems happened, I think it is a miracle that we even got what we did with episodes one and four. So for that, I am happy that they gave Uzumaki a chance, even if some things didn´t get adapted the same way I wanted it to.
I agree that they could have adapted the themes together better instead of shoving every story in. The way they did it was very fast paced and had constant change. Compared to when reading the manga as the themes are more constant and slowly escalate, the anime jumps from story to story, making it feel random instead of building up.
I actually really enjoyed the third episode, but I know I'm definitely in the minority for that opinion. Episode 2 is 100% the worst episode, far and large. It's just too much at one time.

I think it is better than nothing. I am just happy we got something from Junji Ito to be fair.
Definitely better than nothing

It is definitely just disappointing and instead of people being rational, they blew things out of proportion.

I can agree with Episode 2 being the weakest of the bunch. :L
