And, please put the couch facing the TV & the recliner facing the TV but on an angle . Like THE WAY YOU HAD IT! 😆 🤣 never put a couch in front of a window unless the window bottom sill is a bit higher than the back of the couch. Hope this helps!

Your house is lovely as usual! A loving suggestion; your entry way bench can be used as a side table for Shane if you move your white pillow on the other side and the light in the middle. Shane deserves to have a place to set his phone and a drink when he kicks back to relax.

I purchased a home in my own and it’s been very overwhelming. Something constantly needs fixed and i have been second guessing my ability to be a homeowner. I just wanted to say thank you. I was so embarrassed of my home because it’s far from perfect and old but you really have changed my perspective. I watch a lot of your videos for inspiration! I’d hang those shutters on an empty wall with a faux trim window frame underneath and make it look like you have an extra window :)
SOOOO glad you got to keep your entryway!!!! I too just love the look of it :-) The new sectional looks so cozy, just right there by the fireplace!! The piece of wood with the track lighting was a PERFECT idea!!! You are CORRECT the revamped dresser and mirror and sconces ARE MADE for THAT SPACE!!!! Everything looks like it was DESIGNED to go there!!!! Prayer request sweet friend, and followers of our lovely family. A friend's 13 year old daughter over dosed this last weekend :'( The young lady is in Children's Mercy for observation. The father is a special friend of my husbands and was to emotional to share to many details, but that's ok GOD KNOWS.....Sady this is NOT a BELIEVING FAMILY :'( Prayers would be so appreciated for ALL concerned and for salvation of this precious family. Girl everything looks so good! Love the sectional where you placed it! If you didn’t have the furniture store put the fabric protection in it, you can buy Scotchguard fabric protector and spray it on yourself. Especially with young kids and dogs, I highly recommend! It will keep your furniture nice longer. Good job on decor and lighting! ❤️❤️

Hey , i live in a mobile home also. The quicker you get to the moisture problem the better. This causes mold to grow and better to get to that quick, we had mold grow from a leak when the home was put together. Hard and expensive to get rid of. love your new furniture!!!
The living room turned out so great merina! The couch looks so go there bc you dont hide the island, you can see the dresser really well, and the entry is too beautiful to have to get rid of. The lighting is so nice too! The house is really coming together! Love it!!

Just a little tip; buy a couple cans of Scotchguard for fabric and cover your new sectional & ottoman with it! It will REALLY reduce spotting! I’m so happy for you and your newest miraculous make-over! Thank you for always bringing light & joy into my heart when I watch your videos! That’s why I love the older mobile homes with the Vaulted ceilings I have a beam down the center of mine in my living kitchen and my master bedroom is like that too

Merina your living room looked the best the way you had your living room originally when you first started your channel. Put your buffalo check curtains back up on the window behind the sofa. Make sure you don’t extend the rods beyond the window but just a little. Ok you placed the new couch back like the other one was. Love the ottoman. Place your dresser and mirror back where it was on the side wall down from your entry. You go girl. Looks great!!

I have been watching you for the last 18 months or so...and I LOVE almost all the upgrades you have done...I look forward to you putting seeing you putting a solid floor in the dresser so that your baskets in the bottom have a stable shelf to sit on. Love the new hardware and that you put that back where it was before...it belongs there IMHO. Love your new sectional and agree it belongs where you put it. I love watching your videos! Have you considered installing a dimmer switch for the new living room overhead light? I think it would add ambiance to the room when you and your family are having a movie night and not affect the color of the TV. So nice to see Shane's skills expand and add to his tools which helps him become the craftsman that he is naturally blessed to become. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family!
Merina, when I make vegetable soup, I brown ground beef, drain the grease, add all my vegetables and ad 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard and 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to your taste. I cook it for hours like you did. It’s looks delicious.

There’s not a thing wrong in living in a mobile home people just want to put and stigma on it. I was so proud of mine . We did sell it had a small home built I still think of it even today. My husband changed a lot in it and it was a new home they both were. ❤️🙏

Girlfriend to make your veggie soup extra yummy add some spaghetti sauce. Just a cup or two .All the spices in the sauce gives your soup that little extra favor. Fill the seams & corners of the frame around the windows they will look better when you can’t see the gaps. I love those new pillows. So cozy & homey. To balance the wall next to the corner cabinet hang something between the window & the cabinet. Your home is absolutely gorgeous. Cannot wait to see what you do in the girls room. The living room looks amazing you guys! I might be a little biased because we have the same sectional! We love it! Mine has an extra seat that connects the two pieces together, so it’s a little longer on one side. I believe the couch by Ashley furniture, and it’s in the color Bavarian Stone, if anyone is looking for it. We’ve had ours a year and a half, and it’s holding up great through animals, kids, grand kids, the neighbor’s kids etc… lol the only thing we have done is invest in a sweater shaver to take care of the fabric. Sometimes it pills a bit. Karrie Lynn here on TH-cam has the same sectional!😁

I know you don't want to hide your beautiful work behind your couch but I really think you should put your couch back there. It would open your living room up more and when the kids jump on it. It will help support the overall structure of the couch so I dosnt break again. You could put your picture shelf on the other side of the window. Also your beautiful window work would show with moving the couch back. I hope you don't mind me saying all that. Love you guys.

Hey girl! I was watching this and my hubby, an electrical engineer, is home watching too. He’s concerned about the electric light Shane put in by the fireplace. The switches (that circular turner thing) are prone to failure and could start a fire in your wall. They crack and collect dust. He also said the wire nuts need to be wrapped in electrical tape it stops them from backing out and getting dust on them which could also start a fire. Love you all! Let me know if you need more info. I absolutely love your family and adore your videos!
I love it! I thought you were splitting it across from each other at first. I do love the bigger rug, but I get it fits the smaller one better. Always impressed with what you two come up with for each room. It always ties together ❤️

If you put white or even colored led strip lighting behind your tv in your living room, it will make a big difference in lighting. Especially on the white light setting, it really brightens up the entire room! Plus it looks cool too lol.

Marina - it looks beautiful - you should be very proud. My only suggestion is to push back the couch a bit more towards the kitchen. It looks too close to the tv and fireplace. Makes the living room look smaller. There is plenty of space to go back a bit more. Congratulations!

Im in an old stick built house that had no overhead lights in any rooms but the kitchen, dining and bathroom. Yes it sucks to have to rely on lamps. Love your home

I love those shutters. I have them on almost all windows now. One day, inside shutters in French doors. They are not fancy doors, functional but will look better with shutters

I make a soup like that! What makes it awesome is a couple spoons of powdered bullion and Italian seasoning! And time…. Either cook it on high or give it all day and it makes it the best! We love it the second day. It gets better and better.
