Hi! I took a course of illustrator and I think i have a bit an idea of what you did...
I'm not sure if you're going to see this but... it seems that you used
-gradient tool
-shape tool
-pen tool
is that correct?
Can you show how the steps are done? I'm certain I would learn a ton.
e.g. How to change the canvas and crop according to canvas size.
e.g. How to move things without creating a thousand layers (which I still do)
e.g. How to "light source gradience"
e.g. How to make 'blurry' clouds

I know it has been a year, but actually all what you're asking are basic points in illustrator software learning. In any tutorial of basic illustrator you can learn these
So I recommand to just watch one video and it will be enough. Also, you can slow this video down in the options and you will see the steps more properly. I mean you have probably done it already but there are a bunch of totorials even for one specific tool, so just take abit time to search
