I'm now convinced that it just must be an Aussie thing to do the Broad/Strayan accent when you're trying to be funny LOL my husband does it all the time when he wants to sound more Aussie coz he has a general accent lmao I do think it's funny though

and yeah i only recently found out there's 3 known accents in Australia, the Broad/Strayan or Bogan lol, the general accent, and the cultivated accent. Steve Irwin is an example of Broad, general is apparently Hugh Jackman, and cultivated is Cate Blanchett. (I saw a video on it once lol)
