Jen's back from her Walt Disney World trip. She gives her positive and negative feedback on her trip with the girls and what she thought about doing four parks in three days!
She also shares her thoughts and opinions on the new Disney dining plan. Disney reintroduced their dining plan a few months ago and Jen decided to purchase it for this trip. Was it worth it? Did they enjoy the new plan's features? Or was it a total bust? Tune in to find out!

We've done dining plan when it was "free" and always found it to be too much food especially towards the end of our trip. Used to be they'd let you swap a QS meal for 3 snacks but I've read that's no longer allowed. We'd do that to bring candy etc home. I always think servers push dessert when you're the plan so the tip is bigger but that might just be the cynic in me lol. I can see how you wouldn't pay for a mug but because our trips are usually 14+ days they do earn their keep. We do find they are handy for a sneaky G&T at the pool .
Lol! We use them at the pool too!! We mix Coke with Jameson. Jen xo
💛 oh Jen, your poor feet! So sorry you had to go through that. Nothing worse than having shoes/sandals that kill your feet on your trip. I stick to good running shoes that are broken in with inserts for foot & knee support/pain for all that walking. Teva Mush flip flops for a change up. I learned the hard way after wearing keds without support all day at Magic Kingdom. Swollen & blistered feet. Never again. Despite that mishap, it’s sounds like you still had a great girls trip! Hope you are now feeling much better!!

💛 we do buy Genie+ when we go. We are AP’s and DVC members and as often as we go I wouldn’t do the parks without it. It’s impossible to do Magic Kingdom without it. So far this year we’ve gone February, March, April and used it any day we go to the parks and I know with our upcoming trips for May, June, July, August, September , November and December we will continue to buy it. How did you like the Grand Floridian, it’s one of our 8 home resorts. Hope you and your daughters had a magical time.
We loved the GF. It was their second time staying there and my 4th. WL and CSR are still my favorites.
Oddly, MK was not crowded and was the one day we didn’t purchase Genie. We got everything done with the exception of PPF.

Sounds like it was a great trip overall! That's too bad your sandals caused such great discomfort. Were they the cloud slides? I can't wear those things either. I've found that I can't wear cheaper shoes anymore. The joys of getting older!
Yes! The funny thing is that I’ve worn the Clouds for almost a year and a half now without issue. I got so pissed that I threw them away at the resort, lol. Jen xo
