14:25 The non-bolded contours are not just for flavour. They have a real effect on lines of sight but only between units at the same level. It's a very clever way of combining aesthetics and rules and one of the main selling points for me.
You can't expect that. The errata was probably released while the printing/production was happening. That doesn't tend to get interrupted for any reason. I'd say, be glad you had errata available at the same time you opened the box, instead of waiting for months before you could even *find* it.
Alexander: Like you, I LOVE tactical games. The components look amazing, and this game is really in my wheelhouse!!!! Am looking for the review and maybe a playthrough....Hmmmmm?
I seem to remember in one of the monthly updates they did mention they were using new printers. As I am a goldfish and have swam around the bowl once I cannot remember any more details than that!
None of the maps suits the hedgerow landscape of Normandy...it's too much open for the real Normandy-Britanny landscape of that era (well even for the modern one :)). Well at least for the terrain the US troops encounters there. For the british zone the maps will just do fine although as the plains near Caen were much more open. Looks great but not suitable for solitaire playing. Also tactical game aren't my flavour. I'll pass on this one.

The initial list of errata came out before the game was delivered. It would be great if they would include this in the box.

I agree that this deserves a playthrough. ;)
i'm waiting for a review Alexander !! From either you or The Chief !!
Your 'sniper' counters are actually mortar target designators. And the "craters" are foxholes. Otherwise spot on description.
It does sound different from usual games which is reach objective at any cost. Looking forward to your review.

My fav gmt game!!
Scenario generator? How so?
Unsure how it works but I would presume it's pick an objective pick up space generate forces pick a time limit I'm sure there is a formula for it
