@@riche4788 Kalendi is correct. We will pay billions of pesos because of the exchange of currency. A 1 dollar is 58 pesos, so if the US wants PH to pay $100 million, that is around 6 billion pesos.

The USA used to be the world's reserve currency which meant that other countries bought dollars and paid interest in order to trade with each other. The USA made a mistake and allowed manufacturing to slip away. They trade dollars with these other countries in return for trade deals that US companies can't compete with. Example we give military support and they give us discount cars and goods. While politicians brag about how low car prices and things on Amazon cost other countries are getting military aid, they're selling goods and expanding manufacturing while USA companies struggle.
No we've reached a point were BRICS is a thing and other countries don't buy dollars as much anymore and our manufacturing is crippled so we can't survive without countries like China and Taiwan.
Politicians screwed everything up and the USA is fragile.
USA was once the best most profitable place in the world to start any business. Today I watch the rest of the world leap into the future while the USA stays stagnant as it has for the past 20 years
