yer it realy is just time, my favorite thing to do with is get close to them use the saber dash and turn around and quick grap them with the choke hold its a good combo in my opinion

3:05 is exactly how a fight between Maul and Rey (or any of the sequel characters) would go lmao, not even needing to use his saber, just yeeting them with the force like it's nothing. This vid gives me the motivation to get good with Maul. He seems like he'd be easy to use for a newbie, but staying quick and agile is a lot harder than it looks, major props man.

I bet you use the same perks as me too. Fast ability recharge, throw range and furious throw. Maul is for high testosterone individuals. He's so fast and aggressive and you can absolutely wipe enemies when you use him right. Thank you for honoring Darth Maul.
Just replace the throw range by extra spin, and you’ve got max aggressiveness, max testosterone. I’ve played maul quite a lot and while I used to love the ranged throw, the extra spin covers for that loss in reach, + maul can take a lot of damage while you throw using long range, but it’s still awesome to one shot enemies with long range, it’s good to train your aim

Maul players are actually so talented and its kinda hard to get good with him because he's used to be fast agile and you'll have to get used using his acrobatic movements also using his double bladed saber is kinda awkward in some situations but all in all he's awesome I almost got him to level 300 and I think I got the hang of him

Seriously need a stand alone lightsaber versus game..
But they need to add more Jedi/Sith
Like Qui-Gon, Mace Windu, Ahsoka, Kit-Fisto etc.
The Darkside would be a little bit harder though considering there arent really an equivalent enough amount of Sith/Darkside duelists.... atleast without dipping into the Non-canon pool, or the Legends side of things
They could add the big fan favorite Darth Revan, Darth Talon, Asajj Ventress etc.
