Yes, there should be part 2 of this movie, very nice and teaches us some life lessons to marriage relationship. It could show the back story to him and his ex girlfriend relationship and how they broke up, and now how him and his wife met, is happily married with kids, their committment to their marriage, love and respect for each other. Show their love by having wedding day in part 2, just how proposed in part 1 to show how much he love his wife, giving her the respect and committment of his heart. Part 2 story would be as excellent as this one. The set up of the move overall was excellent with the clothes they wore and good friends and family believing in them. The wife showed her love for her husband, by agreeing to his wishes, she was even jealous of her sister and her husband scene in the kitchen. She was deeply hurt in the couples counselling, to know that he was still in love with her sister and the true reason as to why he married her. It was truly hurtful for her, because she was already in love with him and committed to him. Keep up the good acting to the actors and actresses.

Bringing the therapist for marriage solution was genius giving to the fact that this part of Nigerian are conservatives due to their customs and traditions. Guys this is really a very great job.❤
True, most people in the North are conservatives, but believe me when it comes to bedroom matters, a lot of people will be in for a shocker at the level of exposure and adventurous nature of Northern women. If this is a particular story of a particular woman, then it can and should be analysed as such, but if it's taken as a representative of the North, then this is where the problem stems.

And remember one of the sisters was invited by his friend or brother for lunch, and they had some drinks! If I interpreted it correctly! So in that respect it's far from "conservative". It goes against the image of the Northern women portrayed in the movie. I am not saying that there are no women in the North who go against the teaching of Islam on alcohol and go ahead and drink, but not this kind of women as the filmmaker depicts in this movie.

I love when our language is incorporated into our movies. It makes it very relatable. Not when a character called Kunle is speaking yoruba like he is from china ooo but when it is authentic like it was in this movie. The Aby character didn't speak hausa but he fits right into the culture and every once in awhile when he says nagode, it actually sounds believable. Good script, great cast and kudos to the wardrope department. Great watch👍🏾

Wow...Definitely 👍 a Masterpiece ...worthyto be showcased internationally ... The storyline highlighted many societal...personal and relationship issues especially the exposition around challenges about sexually explicit conversations within marriages... which are commonplace in our Nigerian community... but brushed aside due to stgma..norms and traditional upbringing and values. Many valuable life lessons learnt 💯 Entire cast were well chosen for their individual characters and they did an extremely beautiful job of portraying all roles naturally and excellently.. As a professional practising Therapist...I was immensely impressed with the 'Marriage counselor'..undoubtedly an outstanding performance portraying his role..very natural.. realistic and totally spot on! Additionally truly loved the fusion of Hausa and Igbo languages with English all through... A mature , well scripted twist to the traditional role of men n women in marriage, in the bedroom, cultural and religious norms, the sheltered way girls are raised..the fact that husband is the one who suggested counseling speaks volumes! Bringing the therapist for marriage solution was genius giving to the fact that this part of Nigerian are conservatives due to their customs and traditions. Guys this is really a very great job.❤
True, most people in the North are conservatives, but believe me when it comes to bedroom matters, a lot of people will be in for a shocker at the level of exposure and adventurous nature of Northern women. If this is a particular story of a particular woman, then it can and should be analysed as such, but if it's taken as a representative of the North, then this is where the problem stems.

But as regards to bedroom matters , it may interest you to learn that "conservative" is the last word to associate with a large number of women from the North, even those that are not educated 😉 😀, yes! I think we should be guarded in quickly treating this movie as a representative of the North, but rather, for me it should be treated as a single woman story who could be from any part of the world. And remember one of the sisters was invited by his friend or brother for lunch, and they had some drinks! If I interpreted it correctly! So in that respect it's far from "conservative". It goes against the image of the Northern women portrayed in the movie. I am not saying that there are no women in the North who go against the teaching of Islam on alcohol and go ahead and drink, but not this kind of women as the filmmaker depicts in this movie.

I love when our language is incorporated into our movies. It makes it very relatable. Not when a character called Kunle is speaking yoruba like he is from china ooo but when it is authentic like it was in this movie. The Aby character didn't speak hausa but he fits right into the culture and every once in awhile when he says nagode, it actually sounds believable. Good script, great cast and kudos to the wardrope department.

The storyline highlighted many societal...personal and relationship issues especially the exposition around challenges about sexually explicit conversations within marriages... which are commonplace in our Nigerian community... but brushed aside due to stgma..norms and traditional upbringing and values.

Entire cast were well chosen for their individual characters and they did an extremely beautiful job of portraying all roles naturally and excellently..
As a professional practising Therapist...I was immensely impressed with the 'Marriage counselor'..undoubtedly an outstanding performance portraying his role..very natural..

Additionally truly loved the fusion of Hausa and Igbo languages with English all through...
