Im doing fine thanks for asking. It took some time but 5 years ago i was attending Lancaster Bible College at Pennsylvania. I had used the Montgomery GI Bill to help pay for my tuition after leaving the military. I was struggling at the time however. I had lost both my parents before going to the military then after leaving i was diagnosed with anxiety and PTSD from the Army. When i got to Lancaster Bible College i just felt really out of place. Most students came from and was raised in Christ Like upper middle class households and I had came from poverty. I lived in the Bronx Ny and Paterson NJ most my life. Both are horrible areas to grow up in. Its nobody fault but my own though because instead of going to someone and asking for help I turned to alcohol and drugs. I left College and went to a program. I remember always listening to Bizzle (this was around the time he was calling out Jay Z). I always listened to Bizzle and that mixtape Lecrae had ( Church Clothes Volume 2). Their music really helped me through tough times
What a testimony! Happy you are doing better! I can relate to your struggles, I was born in the Bronx, life was difficult,join the military moved to WA and never looked back. There's to much trauma for me to ever go back home. I just rededicated my life to God the other day because I want to change. God bless.
