Is it just me or do these concept look like they're in really high resolution?
In the countless jersey videos you’ve done I’ve never seen a Blues jersey I think is better than the ones they actually use. Not sure if it’s a hard team to make concepts or the existing ones are just genuinely so good they can’t be topped.
Well, Blue is always less harsh than white, so utilizing a combination of lighter blue to balance the white and navy is a smart idea.
And the yellow is extremely complimentary to both shades, while also providing a necessary pop of color.
Yellow still works with red, but it's still a fairly warm tone, so balancing it against cool blues is a great choice.
Hockey is very reliant on cool tones, to get over the "ice sport" aspect, but as a very competitive, passionate, and often times vicious ballet, I think it's important to balance every cool tone with one of warmth and heat.
Coincidentally, my least favorite jerseys are ones that fail to do this.

Powder Blue on a Leafs jersey more from the Blue Jays
I love the Blue Jackets jersey, but definitely feel like we have seen it before. That being said it works and I would buy it in an instant. I like that he took the red out of the Minnesota Wild Jersey, but the stripping kills it for me. Panthers, I can’t stand them, but would definitely love to see a Miami Vice jersey.
Loved the lightning one but yeah im with you on the white. Tbh id want the circle completely gone and figure out something else. I’m not sure what which is probably why I haven’t seen something different

OMG that Minnesota Wild jersey is beautiful. I agree with the trees comment as well, but that green, with the cream colour is fantastic.

Sorry...way too many back jerseys in the NHL, or black themed. Kings need to go back to Royal Purple and Gold, as those colors represent "A Kings Royalty"

I'd really love to see the Liberty bell incorporated into our jersey somehow. Even as shoulder patches.
Love the Ducks concept but would make the shoulder patch primarily orange

Hard no on the Oilers jersey. We hate on Tampa for looking like a leafs/wings jersey. This is the same. Per Neil's suggestion, an orange stroke on the lower half of the jersey would make all the difference! I liked so many of the other concepts!

Edmonton

were solid concepts
Can't go wrong with a Miami Vice jersey, which should serve notice to the Panthers to MAKE THE BLOODY THING!!! You never know, you may have a chance of winning the Cup with it.
If the Canadiens pass on their concept, could someone pass this on to the Dundee Stars? And could I claim the Leafs concept for my beloved Coventry Blaze?
Hard to choose just one, that was for the most part an excellent set of concepts. Chicago / Nashville / Ottawa / Toronto / Montreal / Columbus were my favourites, I do Like the Tampa jersey as well, think it would be better with silver instead of white on the logo (and a slightly thinner stroke maybe).
Predators, Panthers, Oilers, Flyers, Blackhawks.
In that order.
I think I'd like to see the 'D' from the Tigers utilized with its cleaner, modern aesthetic in red, on a red band, on a white jersey.
I miss that Red Wings retro jersey.
On the Oilers, I did have it at three, and I think I'd make the blue stripe between the white arm bands orange, and a moderate orange stripe above the white at the bottom.
Otherwise, great concepts for at least half of these.
Real talk though.. I have not liked most of the Leafs jerseys 😂
I will never like their jerseys, I think the maple leaf in general looks like the kind of leaf I'd find on a weed or some otherwise ugly plant.
It's patriotic, sure, but it's a terrible team name and really doesn't work for me with it's design language.
No one does the lettering in a way that seems anything but cluttered and the stringent blue and white is just.. well, it's boring.
Blue is a cool color and white is an absence of color.
It's a jersey that reminds me of winter, so for a sport played on ice, it's fine.
But like a team that hasn't even seen a final since before the league expanded for the first time, it feels like it's more frozen in time than timeless.
That Nashville design is quality, i definitely could see that being a home jersey for them. As a Philly fan, I hate to say it, but the Pens should stick with the two tone jerseys from the stadium series - they always look clean. My fave out of this series is Anaheim, if colours were tweaked for the shoulder patches
