@@mrmeepsyt5917 well it is a strategy multiplayer game like WoT PC, team play are really needed too, doing carry or farming damage are satisfying, this is not candy crush, temple run and angry bird type of game. I played the Luchs a lot with a friend of mine who I'd introduced to the game. At the time, he didn't have many vehicles and really enjoyed that one. He eventually had a few tier Xs before he stopped playing. It really sucked learning that they'd nerfed the Luchs to the ground and then removed it. That was pretty brutal.

You did a wonderful job on this, Droodles. Man, I remember having to get parts, and dang...I do NOT miss that, at all! Anyone that didn't play back then just won't understand how much getting parts sucked. Thanks for bringing up old wounds. LOL! I also loved that you brought up the missiles. I literally stopped playing tiers 8-10 after those were incorporated into the game. Interestingly, though, that may have been a good thing. Spending a lot of time in tiers 5-7 helped me get much better at the game, and when WG finally came to their senses and got rid of them, I came back and managed to increase my winrate a fair amount in less than a year. Another thing I appreciated was you bringing up the whole "pay-to-win" topic. I genuinely don't think that it is (but it kind of used to be when premium ammo was only for gold). I will say this: I am a tank collector, which, given that this is a digital medium, is kind of silly when I think about it (so I don't - HA). While I own and have put a shameful amount of money into acquiring certain tanks, I've found that I rarely ever play them. Yes, I used to play the heck out of the Smasher, but I almost never touch it now. Yes, I have an Annihilator, but as of writing this, I only have 19 games in it - it isn't that fun for me. I'll admit that I play a good amount of tier 8 premiums, but I genuinely don't think they're better than their tech tree counterparts. I mostly play them when I'm low on credits and even have the tanks with the highest credit co-efficient pinned specifically for those purposes. Otherwise, I just pick a tier and play through all of my tanks. It's been helpful, to say the least. Finally, I want to touch on gold. Do I buy it? Sure do, and that's okay (especially when they have a good deal on it). As a collector, it kind of helps me get those rarities, ya know? But if you're 100% free-to-play, you can earn over 18k gold a year just by watching videos. That's a decent amount and can be a big help, so don't let someone who is an idiot with their money dissuade you from playing. I actually think people should save their money and do this because I found that once I started spending money on the game (thanks a lot, Smasher), it became a slippery slope. Lol! Blitz is just that one game you can't seem to let go. You can give wg all the hate for the crates but you gotta give them credit for managing to keep this game alive
There are 4 diferent tank classes, lots of maps, 10 different tiers, every vehicule having its unique characteristics. You can play 50 games in a row and absolutely NO match would go in the exact same way. This is the best part.
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen - That is true. It took me thousands of games to get the maps down. More maps would be great, they should release a new one every quarter. It would help level the playing field between newer and older players.
This Video was very informative & well worth watching, Thank you for making it Droodles. I may be an under 50% player on this my Fun account, But I'm at 87% on my other one, & I agree with everything you said about the game, in my on & off again playing It, the Game has Constantly Improved for the Better, & I Honestly Enjoy it more now than I ever did before.
I agree with you droods. What got me hooked was the Learning part of the game. I remembered when I unlocked my first Tier 4 (Pz 4) and I also encountered HE. I completely ignored the penetration and instantly thought "Its cheaper and deals more damage, lets go". I camped in a bush and fired. I was shocked to see 35 damage or so, that is when I got introduced to the concept of penetration and shell types. I loved it.
Droodles I agree with almost everything what have you said. What I think was a biggest mistake of WG, was update 5.5. New players can reach high levels too quickly. U can see guys at tier 10 within 250 games.
Hello, as for the two tier levels, I will tell you that yesterday I was in the squad with my tier 7 with my partner in a tier 8 and we entered a tier 9 game, I was the only 7 ... my great pleasure was to be second in damage of the 14 players in the game.- being in a lower tank and making a good fight gives me double satisfaction- greetings to all and happy new year-
Your failtoon would have been MM'ed with another failtoon - there would have been a T7 on the other team (which probably got wiped out early so you didn't notice it). It's never a good idea to platoon with different tier tanks...
I like the world of tanks pc and console pen mechanics better because in blitz it's either you have then pen or not. thats why +3/-3 works in these two games
@@AlphaPhoton it's not offensive to correct me. In 2013 it was like that. (extra)a few tier console 7 tanks got above 250 pen like the scorpion. blitz(like console) ruined many t7 and t6 tanks armor. The force unleashed tanks(a joke)
i started playing blitz recently and tbh im having more fun in this than the normal wot.It kinda brings back the vibe and nostalgia of the first wot years.
I started playing the game when It just got released and it was amazing great memories were made and the game is still growing. When it cane out I had and still have a fetish for tanks and the concept of how they work. Blitz captures that and puts it perfectly into a game. It was my favorite game before but it has gotten worse in certain aspects. Players suck their are more hackers and toxic players. I dont enjoy playing it as mich as i did as a kid but its still fun.
i honestly still play it because of its balancing i moved from normal WOT to WOT blitz because 1.you can get gold for free 2.there are no +2 games 3.the grind is shorter
world of tank blitz is the only mobile which is 8 years old and still hasnt died yet. many popular games like coc and clash royale died like after 5 years after their launch and blitz is still alive. thats epic!!
CoC is dead?XDD It was downloaded 600milion times and still there are milions of active players compared to 100milion wot downloads and that is pretty big amount in favour of CoC
I playing WoTB for 3 years and I still love it cuz game it’s so amazing updates are getting better and better even I see noobs toxic blockers premium tanks a lot but I never stop playing blitz I love this game
Well done analysis Droodles, thanks. The only thing I think I would add is that IMO the big difference between WOTB and WOT is the barrier to entry is much lower and all the other pros you mentioned WOTB has over WOT. I think most people have a phone or tablet compared to a decent PC or laptop. The game really does mesh a lot of different skill modalities, and I think people like that variety and challenge.
I started playing again in september for the first time since 2017 and while i was surprised with how much had changed, there's still lots of nostalgia and good memories for me
Nice game playing Droodles! I’m learning as much as I can and appreciate all the information and commentary I can get! Keep up the great commentaries! Tank on bro!!!
After having avoided Blitz for the past 3-4 years and randomly coming across this video in my recommended, it's brought back great memories and makes me want to return. Maybe I will return to the game and to the TH-cam channel I had, we'll see
I’ve played this game for over 7 years. Really loved playing FPS games so wanted to give this a try. Got addicted to it ever since. Mostly F2P until I spent about £80 this year, the first time I’ve ever spent in-game money in ANY game
Great video, I just have one thing that irritates me. I am a 40% win player. Now I have watched tutorials on tanks and maps and how to play, specifically Droodles and Meadsy videos. But the fact that I try my best and a lot of others also try their best to play the game right, we still get bashed by the community and content creators for having that low rate of wins. And it was addressed a few times that luck and bad teams are a reason for this, specifically in this video as well. But still everyone gets bashed. Which is unfair. What is your thought on this. PS. I am all for the banter.
I liked your video on this, and to be honest I have watched you video a lot,and find them very helpful keep up the go work Droodles Blitz thank you.I have been playing for 7 years now.
To other people, it's rare, but you CAN get +2/-2 AS LONG as you're in a platoon with two different tier tanks. For example, if you are tier VIII platooning with a tier IX, you could get put against tier X. It only happens if the server is basically dead for a long time.
The fact that wg shows that they care about the game and the fact that I can play it on any device is what keeps me hooked. Relatively recent player of 2 years, but the game has still changed a fair bit
Awesome video, everything you said was true and this video was really worth it, brought back all those memories of days gone by, thanks for all the effort
This man is speaking FACTS! I started playing WoTB 2 years ago if I remember. A LOT was different than now, but I can say it got better, at least in my opinion. Then, I left the game, I forgot my reason why, maybe cus I suck at the game and raged a lot, or I was just too busy with school, I was 14 at the time. But then, I came back to play the game again, after 2 years, to see how it's going, and I can tell you, IT GOT BETTER. New tutorial, dynamic suspension, HD graphics and new maps, it simply was better. I did notcie some things got removed, like that desert map with the waterfall. But with the negatives aside, I enjoyed the game much more than I played it last time. I got to like 7 million creds, got a premium TD for free, got to try some collector's tanks, I got MORE gold for free than last time, my gameplay is better, and I got a rank 7 tank, my limit last time was a rank 5. I got better with the game and have like 1000 battles now. I like and agree with your opinion on this game and I hope many more could watch this video and understand it deeply.
I started playing Wotb on my phone back in 2014. Recently started playing again after watching your vids, and I've become much more skilled thanks to the tactics I picked up from the wotb community.
All good points Droodles. Don’t be swayed by what others have to say. I play to have fun and to get better. As long as I am getting that satisfaction it’s worth staying.
I played blitz when it first release , people complaining that this game is p2w even though you can get golds just by watching ads. I started watching ads in 2019 every day i earned like 36500 gold or more and i havent spend one single gold on the shop except prammo's. Reason why i played blitz was to get good laughs with my friends and family.
I played blitz when it originally came out. Back when it was only 4 nations and such. But a mix of potato’s for devices, and the poor balancing made me drop it. But after a good few years my little brother convinced me to come back. So I guess time invested keeps me playing
Blitzstars put out a statistic recently that was kind of eye opening. Total time in battle. I have spent 31 DAYS in wot blitz battles. Droodles congrats on 130 days in battle!
I started around 2015. I didn't spend much money on it, but I did buy a T34 that I had no idea how to play. I've never been any good at this game, but I still play it because it's fun. Even when I'm getting destroyed 10 times in a row, I keep coming back for more.
Wow. I don't know if anyone will see this comment since the video is a year old but I've quit blitz for some time now. I had 2~3 thousand battles on it with multiple russian, german, and american tank lines being explored. I quit because I was getting frustrated of what i thought was my low win rate (53%) and how I couldn't seem to change that overnight. I wanted a 60% and higher like droodles and quackybaby. I forgot how I'd grinded through the ups and downs, the painful battles where all you do is spot people and run aroud, not being able to do anything. Droodle's comment on how things always seem better in the past because we don't remember the bad is so true. I forgot how I many losses I faced and just expected to become a great player overnight. Best video I've seen from droodles.
I was doing home work and it really sucked so I took a break anourd was video I completely agree with you and you gave me a good dopamine hit thanks for your videos.
Im playing 7 years, and what can i say? 7 years filed with great memories, adrenaline, lucky wins, deserved masteries, spended moneys, hardly grinded and buyed tanks, and mainly lots of new friends - this game is part of my life :')
I keep on playing it (I’ve been playing for 1 whole year) just because there are still so many tanks to grind that I would like to grind, so it keeps me entertained for long. Also, game modes coming in once in a while makes it really fun.
Been playing since it was released. Had deleted it more times than I can count and yet I kept coming back. Despite its crap, it's the best among them all in terms of content. Just wish they made the realism mode a permanent option beside rating battles
Personally I liked the game but I wanted a bigger game. I now play Warthunder and I love it more. I get a lot of people wont agree with me but I loved playing this game. Blitz is a nice game.
Played my first tier 8 game in a tiger2 with the smallest gun not enough combat XP Only 25% upgraded, the red team had 5 pay to win tanks we didn't have a chance it's like the game was predetermined who was going to win, just for the record, we had 1 pay to win tank.
One of the thing i like about this game is about the grind. If you're one of those rare types of player that barely cares about win rate (like me), losing is basically just a slight bump in the grinding process. Unlike war thunder, you don't get punished for losing the game (or even just playing the game lmao) by losing quite hefty amount of credit, you even still get some credits out of it. Only if you dont use premium ammo that much or at all tho
I had a 2 year break from this game but I'm back. And it seems like a better game in general. Better community and more content. The only problem are the low amount of maps. It was more before.
WOW, half an hr non-stop babeling. Your biggest talent certainly lies elsewhere away from just a super unicorn in this game. I see an eloquent lawyer in your future. Learned a great dealfrom watching your TH-cam. Keep up the great job.
Started playing this game last week. I have devices that can play all versions of WoT, but honestly Blitz seemed like it was the best one from my research.
Honestly, I'd love to see you run though every single update on this game. That would be amusing. Maybe even show some footage of the gameplay for each update.
Yeaa the arguments and commentary is good and all. But why does that M103 didn't shoot HE knowing he cant pen the turret ? XD Edit: a boss game mode ? Now thats interesting.
I've been playing for 7 years and I have found that this game has improved a lot. There has been so many changes and improvements. WG seems to be always trying to improve the game, which is great. It doesn't seem to get dull. Also, Droodles thanks for your videos and it content. Your advice has been a big help.
Trying to improve the game or improve their profits from the game? I am not seeing any real development in new maps. Just one in the last year while others were taken down. They are turning the game into nothing more than an arcade shoot-em-up that extracts money from players.
@@2inchdestroyer475 yup hated the game or more properly the greed of Wargaming enough to delete it and stop playing. It could be a great game but as it is, it sucks.
blitz is the first game i ever really played, growing up in a strict household me and my brothers didn’t have any consoles, but we had ipads which we weren’t allowed to use for more than 20 minutes a day, but me and my older brother would always sneak on at night and platoon in early world of tanks, i remember when i was so proud to get the tier 5 heavies of all the nation’s in the game at the time (ger, brit, usa, ussr) and took me forever to get the tiger 1. i miss those nights back in the day playing tier 4-5 for nights on end, been playing for 7 years on and off, now i have 17 tier X tanks
I used to play WoT pc and made memories with it. But when I started War Thunder I never went back to WoT for years. I got back recently, but only played few games then stopped again. I now play Blitz because it's convenient and you can play literally everywhere, I am now at tier 9. True it is engaging, but War Thunder is a whole lot different engagement, it teaches you how to not get shot in the first place. The game, armor, and ammunition mechanics are pretty similar, but it's quite fair as you can pretty much one shot everyone whether the tank is higher or lower battle rating/tier. Unlike WoT where you face enemies with better armor and higher HP, and when you're cornered, it's hopeless to get a kill with enemies having higher HP than your gun's damage profile. Not to mention the unfair advantage of heavy tanks with autoloading guns. In War Thunder, you can pretty much hold your ground a bit longer, plus you can die a couple of times and remain in the match because you can play with more than 1 tank per match. There's so much features that makes War Thunder better than WoT pc, it goes both ways but I prefer WT over WoT. Blitz is a such a nice game as well, sometimes frustrating. I still love it, because who would not love a tank game on their mobile?
shout out to Droodles Noodles actually watching AwesomeEpicGuys (the og idea's creators), because they are not really popular, and i think they deserve some more recognition

There are 4 diferent tank classes, lots of maps, 10 different tiers, every vehicule having its unique characteristics. You can play 50 games in a row and absolutely NO match would go in the exact same way.
This is the best part.
Not anywhere near enough maps. Experienced players always have a huge advantage as they know where to sit and fight on the maps.
It doesn´t matter if you have a poor win chance, as long you have fun.
@@benyzehnder9310 yes that's why I still play Blitz an I still enjoy playing it because it's lots of Fun.
No?
Well that's actually a good thing grinding 2 whole months only for 1 single tier 10 isn't fun as it is the case in wot console or pc
imo, the negative side of this game is really just the oversaturated premiums and CRATES
edit: AND FREAKIN MATCHMAKING
@@brandonj9798 but hey, a lot of games have that, compared to wot console and even some periods of pc the game is fine
add toxic 12 year olds and I completely agree
And nerfing tanks we don't want to nerf
And useless noobs, this is worst of all.
@@NebulaSurfer314 shoot I forgot about that. It's why I keep staying on low 60% wr :/
Hello, as for the two tier levels, I will tell you that yesterday I was in the squad with my tier 7 with my partner in a tier 8 and we entered a tier 9 game, I was the only 7 ... my great pleasure was to be second in damage of the 14 players in the game.- being in a lower tank and making a good fight gives me double satisfaction- greetings to all and happy new year-
+2/-2 mm only happens with platoons and I think droodles is talking about solo mm
Droodles in this case is talking about how this was the norm back then. Now only failtoon as it also called would incurr the +2/-2
Your failtoon would have been MM'ed with another failtoon - there would have been a T7 on the other team (which probably got wiped out early so you didn't notice it).
Why because its for casuals?
1. Played for 7 years
2. Thousands USD invested
3. Play with my mom
4. Tank Company is not out yet
I stopped playing this game about a 2 weeks now and its probably the best thing ive done
As a free for play seven year Vet. I couldn’t agree more with you. Great work!
Droodles “You can do whatever you want… no script no storyline”
Arty: You forgot me!
i honestly still play it because of its balancing i moved from normal WOT to WOT blitz because
1.you can get gold for free
2.there are no +2 games
3.the grind is shorter
world of tank blitz is the only mobile which is 8 years old and still hasnt died yet. many popular games like coc and clash royale died like after 5 years after their launch and blitz is still alive. thats epic!!
Blitz and South Park Phone Destroyer are the only two phone games, I still play.
Wtf are you talking about. CoC is still one of the most hyped and played mobile games to this day.
@@moritzheeb1437 yea but its still a dead game XD
CoC is dead?XDD
It was downloaded 600milion times and still there are milions of active players compared to 100milion wot downloads and that is pretty big amount in favour of CoC
@@aminkhaled1534 coc is dead? Nice joke
i went in at around 2017 and went out and went in again in 2019 and went out and finally went in again in 2022.
I playing WoTB for 3 years and I still love it cuz game it’s so amazing updates are getting better and better even I see noobs toxic blockers premium tanks a lot but I never stop playing blitz I love this game
This game got me into liking tanks in about 2017/2018, it seemed interesting to play when i first saw it, now im addicted
Thank you for making this video, I really enjoyed it!
I’ve been playing for 6 years now
I started playing again in september for the first time since 2017 and while i was surprised with how much had changed, there's still lots of nostalgia and good memories for me
Nice game playing Droodles! I’m learning as much as I can and appreciate all the information and commentary I can get! Keep up the great commentaries! Tank on bro!!!
After having avoided Blitz for the past 3-4 years and randomly coming across this video in my recommended, it's brought back great memories and makes me want to return. Maybe I will return to the game and to the TH-cam channel I had, we'll see
I play because of the rush of andrenaline when I get a kill and when I win and the losing doesn't feel good. It's an addiction to the dopamine
1000%, that’s it
Is6 had a favored mm +1/-2 therefore it didn’t need as much pen as the is3 that was matched up against t10 heavies
I’ve played this game for over 7 years. Really loved playing FPS games so wanted to give this a try. Got addicted to it ever since. Mostly F2P until I spent about £80 this year, the first time I’ve ever spent in-game money in ANY game
good job droodles
Great video, I just have one thing that irritates me. I am a 40% win player. Now I have watched tutorials on tanks and maps and how to play, specifically Droodles and Meadsy videos. But the fact that I try my best and a lot of others also try their best to play the game right, we still get bashed by the community and content creators for having that low rate of wins. And it was addressed a few times that luck and bad teams are a reason for this, specifically in this video as well. But still everyone gets bashed. Which is unfair. What is your thought on this.
PS. I am all for the banter.
I really think a big difference too is what device you are playing on. I play on my phone were as a lot of players are on tablets and even pc's.
Can be considered. I have played the game on multiple devices. Samsung mostly. Note 9 and S21 the recent devices
@@pastorofmuppets1968 The best devices in my opinion is Pc and Switch.
Believe me I started out at about 46% win chance, but after time (and watching tutorials) you get better at the game with experience.
@@benyzehnder9310 switch absolutely sucks, I started on switch and moved to PC and can actually enjoy the game now
I liked your video on this, and to be honest I have watched you video a lot,and find them very helpful keep up the go work Droodles Blitz thank you.I have been playing for 7 years now.
Playing for 3 years now. Made great memories. This will be a game for my heart.
Great video Droodles .I really enjoyed it
Awesome video, everything you said was true and this video was really worth it, brought back all those memories of days gone by, thanks for all the effort
I have played the game for 9 years I just take breaks and it makes the game feel new
THANK YOU DROODLES ^^
If you know how armor works, then you'll do very well.
Me playing T-49:
Me: haha tank go booom
Anyway, almost 7 years playing and I'll probably never leave :)
I’ve went to warthunder a tad more of realism no hit points
@@cassidybjerk3580 yeah but, two completely different games. U are comparing ace combat to IL-2 sturmovik...
This was very well done!
Thanks Droodles!!
I played blitz when it originally came out. Back when it was only 4 nations and such. But a mix of potato’s for devices, and the poor balancing made me drop it. But after a good few years my little brother convinced me to come back. So I guess time invested keeps me playing
They were only 3 at lunch
Blitzstars put out a statistic recently that was kind of eye opening. Total time in battle. I have spent 31 DAYS in wot blitz battles. Droodles congrats on 130 days in battle!
Veteran of ~7 years now, I love this game and I don’t plan on stopping
I started around 2015. I didn't spend much money on it, but I did buy a T34 that I had no idea how to play. I've never been any good at this game, but I still play it because it's fun. Even when I'm getting destroyed 10 times in a row, I keep coming back for more.
The fact that this popped up just after i quit wot really tells alot about same mindset.
Well done video! Blitz is an emotional roller coaster but we love it.
Same tbh
why not wot PC? is it me or is wot Blitz for casuals only?
@@mrmeepsyt5917 i didn't had pc
I keep on playing it (I’ve been playing for 1 whole year) just because there are still so many tanks to grind that I would like to grind, so it keeps me entertained for long. Also, game modes coming in once in a while makes it really fun.
We should have a monthly droodles replay marathon
Played this game for 7 years, and still love it. The tanks, the rng, and the maps make it a good game.
Been playing since it was released. Had deleted it more times than I can count and yet I kept coming back.
Despite its crap, it's the best among them all in terms of content. Just wish they made the realism mode a permanent option beside rating battles
I havent played blitz in months i felt so relaxed
Personally I liked the game but I wanted a bigger game. I now play Warthunder and I love it more. I get a lot of people wont agree with me but I loved playing this game. Blitz is a nice game.
Great video ... Nice in-depth analyzing ... Great info ...
I just love tanks. Been playing this for 5 years. I just like the looks of all the tanks.
I play blitz on pc on steam edition.its really growing so much.
WOW, half an hr non-stop babeling.
Your biggest talent certainly lies elsewhere away from just a super unicorn in this game.
I see an eloquent lawyer in your future.
Learned a great dealfrom watching your TH-cam.
Keep up the great job.
The real reason why I'm playing wotb because i keep seeing the gameplay video
Started playing this game last week. I have devices that can play all versions of WoT, but honestly Blitz seemed like it was the best one from my research.
Honestly, I'd love to see you run though every single update on this game. That would be amusing. Maybe even show some footage of the gameplay for each update.
Yeaa the arguments and commentary is good and all. But why does that M103 didn't shoot HE knowing he cant pen the turret ? XD
Edit: a boss game mode ? Now thats interesting.
I've been playing for 7 years and I have found that this game has improved a lot. There has been so many changes and improvements. WG seems to be always trying to improve the game, which is great. It doesn't seem to get dull. Also, Droodles thanks for your videos and it content. Your advice has been a big help.
Trying to improve the game or improve their profits from the game? I am not seeing any real development in new maps. Just one in the last year while others were taken down. They are turning the game into nothing more than an arcade shoot-em-up that extracts money from players.
@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen ah another hater blind to improvements
If I have to choose my favorite video of his videos, it is definitely this video.
Back in the missle era i once managed to snipe a mauchen cupola around a corner to kill him and it was INSANE
This deserves more views and likes tbh
Started playing in Beta, still remember the times where you could teamkill in live games
I watch ad for 3-4 month and now I buy a T28 defender. I love that we could watch ad to receive gold
Who remembers Update 3.8? I get the chills just thinking about it.
