In my fleet, I rode the two 2008 Bluebird Vision handicap buses: Bus 596 and Bus 599.
My district (North Allegheny School District) has four Vision shorty buses, two of which are 2008 units like this, but they’ve got two strobing LED stop-arms and have 54 passenger capacities. The two other Visions are ‘05 models with the Caterpillar C7.

I really love this bus and also my school district which is Broward county still have 2008-2015 Bluebird Visions of course.
My old district has mostly BBV's. All 2009-2020.

Bus 1 I have never been in a first gen vision or the newer ones I forgot how they feel like right now because it been along time bus 1 I’m not even joking I only rode them when I was 5 or 6 years old

I would take a newer (2019+) Gasoline Vision over this or a newer CE any day, until it was wrecked, our 2021 Vision performed a lot better than our previous CE, and the CE spare we're in is falling apart around us.
But you also don’t drive. Driving and riding a bus are two completely different ball games.

Yeah, that’s what happens when you’re use to it being in a certain spot and it’s somewhere else. It’s called muscle memory.

I will say if I had to be stuck in a Blue Bird I would pick older over newer. I can tolerate an 09 or 10 (for a day or so...). Newer than that.....forget it!!! They're still at the bottom of the barrel compared to International.
I agree. The c2 is better than the vision but the outdated interior is definitely a no go
