My vacation spot. I love it here. Love being by the ocean, Bill's Gyros, the Tram. The lights at night. Have great memories of going with my Mom years back too. Great to see this❤️
Amazing city, amazing video, amazing channel EVER !!!!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING... That's the only way for me to visit so many wonderful places in U.S.A. that is a country I love so much! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
ALWAYS WILL LOVE ATLANTIC CITY! MY FAVORITE VACATION SPOT. MET SO MANY OF MY DEAREST FRIENDS THERE. AND MISS IT SO MUCH SINCE I LOST MY JOB. HOPE I CAN GET BACK SOON.
Heh, try ANY Friday or Saturday night no matter what season. It's always like this in the morning on a non weekend. It's what I love about the place. You can have peace and quiet and booming when you want.
Very cool that you were (kinda) close to my hometown! I grew up in Manahawkin, right next to Long Beach Island. I used to love driving on the causeway bridge and seeing the skyline lights of the casinos.
@@911Gameover maybe driving wise yes, by boat it’s a short trip. The southern tip of lbi is 24 miles north of AC. Considering this guy travels all over the world for his videos, I’d say he wasn’t terribly far.
@@sheilabrown8696 you will love it, check out Ocean and Hard Rock. Some restaurants are closed during the week, but many others are open. Tropicana has the most open restaurants of them all. Many local bars and restaurants are open as well. Hard Rock has a promotion for new cardmembers, $15 freeplay. Good luck, stay safe!
At 7:58 is a shot of St. Nicholas of Tolentine on the left, it is on the National List of Historic Places and was built in 1905. The architect designed many churches in Philadelphia, it’s beautiful inside.
Atlantic City is perhaps the most failed major resort city in America, there was a time when is was coming up, being compared to America's biggest resort attractions such as Vegas, Orlando, Miami, San Diego, Myrtle Beach, Mackinac Island, etc. But now it is never mentioned. I have no idea why? Atlantic city had and still has potential. It should be revived, properly advertised, and given a second chance!
I agree. Grew up in South Jersey, but live on the west coast now. I have not been to AC in 25 years. When I saw this video, I was expecting it to look a lot worse! It does not look that bad with lots of nice older buildings, mixed in with the newer casinos.
@@A300G I live out in the west coast now, so I have not been back there in a long time. I do remember the area around where the Devils play, was not so bad. Is it still like that today?
Atlantic City could have been a City of the future. Sad it has a city of the past. It should a walkeable bikeable city with independent restaurants and neighborhood bars.
There are many independent bars and restaurants, too many to mention. Biking on the boardwalk is fun and they are going to create a bike lane on Atlantic Avenue by restricting traffic to one lane.
I agree, AC missed its opportunity long ago. You can't have an ocean front town with subsidized housing, clinics, etc and expect it to be nice. That stuff should have been moved inland. Oceanfront condos where people are willing to pay higher taxes and require little in the way of government services would have infused the city's coffers and allowed them to do much more. At night you have to be careful how far you stray from the casinos/boardwalk.
The streets are almost empty. I sense that it is not just because of the pandemic, that it has been going on for a long time. What worked in Las Vegas didn't work at all in Atlantic City?
Vegas is in worse shape because most of the customers have to fly in. In AC, most customers drive in, the airport has one carrier, Spirit Airlines. This carrier mostly flies to Florida, Myrtle Beach, maybe Atlanta. At the height of the market in 2007, AC casinos grossed $5 billion. But then casinos in PA, DE, CT, MD, NY, OH were approved and by 2013, that total revenue was cut in half. Unlike Vegas, AC didn’t diversify into other areas like nightclubs and develop more non-gaming revenue streams. Before the pandemic, many young folks just went to Vegas for pools and paid $1,000 for bottle service and never gambled.
Wow I' m just shock someone mentioned expert Mrs Esther I thought I' m the only one trading with her. She helped me recover what I lost trying to trade my self
My first investment with Mrs Esther gave me profit of over $24,000 us dollars and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she's the most sincere broker I have known. Thanks for introducing me to Mrs Esther
Who's this professional everyone is talking about I always see her post on top comment on every TH-cam video I watched. I think I'm interested how can I get in touch with Mrs Esther
I'm originally from about an hour's drive from AC, and I absolutely love it. Caesar's is my go-to for a short hotel stay, and the Hard Rock (other end of the boardwalk) is a lot of fun to walk through and try to find the memorabilia of your favorite musicians. I promise it's a LOT more lively than this (in a good way) during peak season! PS - if you love sweets and get the chance to visit here, definitely check out Fralinger's on the boardwalk!
I still thought that, maybe it is because they take traffic signals very seriously and apart from that in the American union it has about 4,000,000 intersections, that is why it is explained because they have so many traffic lights, all corners of the United States from the most populated areas to the areas More lonely there are state-of-the-art traffic lights and apart is the country that uses the most cars in the world with more than 350 million cars in circulation.
Look at all the places that don't have traffic lights and the people drive real crazy and risk thier lives trying to cross the streets. I hate those cities across the world where there are no traffic lights and way too many people on motor bikes, scooters or bicycles. Places like China and India for example.
All A/C has to do (after COVID) is allow more smoking in their casinos, up their slot payback percentage, have better customer service at their hotels and add more police and security on the boardwalk. They can easily compete with Vegas. But they are stuck in their stupid ways, which is why Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and Vegas is a better option.
I must say, that's the cleanest I've ever seen the streets and sidewalks of Atlantic City 👍
My vacation spot. I love it here. Love being by the ocean, Bill's Gyros, the Tram. The lights at night. Have great memories of going with my Mom years back too. Great to see this❤️
