Came here to see only 1 view :) I guess I'm the only crazy person up this late lol. The safari theme looks super neat!! I love how it's different but at its bones is the same as other carcassonne flavors.
Personally I think the original looks better, but maybe it's just me and that I like medieval stuff more. XD This version is still very interesting though!
I have 5 Carcassonne type games with my top 57 favorite games. Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers makes my top 10, at #6. I just love this game, it is amazing, not a fan of the expansion though. Carcassonne: Amazonas just misses my top 10, at #11. My wife wasn't a fan so sold it to my Mom, so I can play it with her. I love the racing aspect and the beautiful jungle tiles. Ark of the Covenant (The Bible version of Carcassonne) comes in at #15. Isle of Skye, although not an official Carcassonne game, very much inspired by it, a fun little game, of which I am considering the new expansion, is my #25. Carcassonne (base game with some expansions) is my least favorite so far, but still makes it in my top 100 at #57. So it is still a fun game, just it's variants are more fun for me.
Great explanation! This gameplay format of explaining board games is so easy to understand! TYSM
And btw Rahdo. Description lists this as a 3 parter, with gameplay, extended, and final thoughts, but it's just a rundown :)
oh whoops. that's part of the default template that gets added to every vid i upload. forgot to remove it here, thanks for the heads up :)

At 6:10 could Jen have placed to mess up your road below the starting tile?
good eye, that would have been a smart move!
You have to start a watering hole on a single card, not as advised here.
