What the presenters fail to admit is that all Ghanaians are collectively responsible for the Cedi depreciation against the American dollar because Ghanaians import more than they export. If the minority NDC MPs have helped pass the impact substitution bill of Hon. K T Hammond, with regard to agricultural and poultry products, Ghana would coupled to the gold for oil initiative would've improved significantly the balance of trade, payment, and gold reserves at the BOG. These two measures and reduction of government wasteful spending would go a long way to slow down the Cedi depreciation against the American dollar.
