These tactics by Stockfish are monstrously powerful... But why are they always the result of Stockfish's opponents having to play from bad, prepared, variations? I have no doubt that Leela would not play this bad line as black if it could decide what it wants to do from the opening move...
@@sieciechczajka6554 I get the mirror aspect of it, but having White the following advantages equals more than a slight plus: 1) The initiative... 2) Space advantage... 3) Development advantage... 4) Black starting off with an endangered Queen...

I have no doubt that Leela would not play this bad line as black if it could decide what it wants to do from the opening move...
Because you probably get a draw. They are giving one side slight advantage so blacks are defending draw and white trying to win. Then they flip sides.
