Is there anyway you can use the Primary/Backup 1-3 utility which keeps the layer properties? E.g you might have a different aspect content e.g. 4:3 (think doctors PowerPoint) as your Graffix 1 machine so you've masked the sides in the layer as it comes in as 16:9 but if you switch to the Backup it resets the layer to 16:9 without the masking so not ideal or slick.

Hey Kevin, really appreciate your Videos!
Two quick question i had however was,
    1. is there any sigificant diffrence to using add source file over copy source file?
In certification Training we always used a copy if we want to crop our input for instance.
Does it alter some parameters or anything like that ?
    and 2.
does the layer aspect ratio actually effect the layer or is it only in use with the source we have selected ?
it would seem to me that you could combine to parameters (''user keys'') to our source if you were to use a 4:3 (as in layer aspect ratio) and also your border and Shadow user key for example ... is that correct ?
    thanks in advance

      Howdy!
1: creating a copy of the source file will copy any modified parameters of that source.
Creating a new source file will revert to the original, non-manipulated version of the source
      2) you are correct; if adjusting the layer aspect ratio you would need to adjust the source to “un-squish” it
And yes, you can combine as many parameters as you see fit
