Thank you for this video! I use both of these decks and your video really helped me get a better understanding of the cards and how they connect. Thank you! 😊❤️
I 💜💝😊💝💜 these Decks!!! They have a newer witches deck, that's more evenly balanced with other "cultures ". Have I said I Really LOVE these Decks!? Lolo 😄💖😄😊💖😊 Oh yea, I really liked your description of each deck and how they compliment each other: Excellent Video! Thank you 💖
Thank you for your review of these decks. I wanted to buy the tarot and was looking for reviews. I have now bought the deck and despite its lack of diversity, I really like it however every time I use it, I find myself wishing I was reflected and represented in the deck, especially as it could have very easily been done. I therefore don't agree with your comments, that it shouldn't be knocked for its lack of diversity. I think that more people should call out these issues where we see them, rather than try to excuse or make excuses for them. Luckily there were people who did, hence the more inclusive oracle deck. I enjoy your videos Sadhana but I don't agree with you that comment, nonetheless an awesome walkthrough and comparison.
You are right, there are a few folks with olive toned skin, but other than that no diversity in race. It is also very body beautiful deck and minimally includes a spectrum of ages. As I mentioned in the video (and you commented too), the creators did listen to the feedback and did a better job with the oracle deck. Perhaps one day, we'll see an Everyday Witch II that includes a more diverse population. I really appreciate you calling me out. There is no excuse. This deck was published in 2017, so created around 2015. There are many decks I do not see myself in. Some I purchase, some I don't. I'm curious, I want to learn. I believe in artistic license. If a particular card befuddles me, I usually write to the creator. Sometimes they are open to conversation; other times they become defensive. Usually I learn something about the creator's experience. I live in a fairly diverse community - many different European cultures and languages, all kinds of sexual orientation, a range of spirituality. As far as POC - not many, yet still the mix of folks is quite incredible. I wonder if artists simply paint what they know, what they see? I will try to listen more, read more, be better informed.
These are decks to tell stories with, for me. I like the Devil, and my first impression of it was sure, temptations can be anywhere and appear in many guises. I also like the Tower card because I can see the satisfaction in the (not all that young) witch's face. She's destroyed something that needed to go. And the mirror in the oracle, "tears of joy and sadness"! You can see just enough of a difference in expressions to spark your intuition. Thanks for a great, in-depth review :)
My friend from India recently purchased the Everyday Witch Tarot at my suggestion. I was not clear why I suggested it as I don't even own it, but I found the guidebook at a second hand bookstore and I love it for bibliomancy. I plan to get the two decks soon, especially after seeing them work together so well on here. 😍 My friend just thanked me for suggesting it. She says it's very easy to catch onto the meanings. Oh and she says that sanskrit is "ahinsa," and means non-violence. 😌
Ahimsa is the first the limb (precept) of yoga. Non-violence to self, others (all beings) in words, thoughts, actions. Thank you for doing the legwork for me. Namaste 🙏🏻
Wonderful video! Everyday Witch Tarot is one of my favorites, and I’m so glad to see it getting some in depth love. I love Alba’s art and all the detail. For example, I love that the cat in the 2 of pentacles is about to throw off the witch’s balance! The deck reminds me of all the witchy fantasy books I read as a kid. I have been meaning to get the oracle but have been putting it off because I was thinking it might be too Magick focused for me as someone who doesn’t identify as a witch. But omg the illustrations are so wonderful. I think I have to just go for it! And I’m so excited for the mini version of the EWT next year!
Loved this, Sadhana - thank you! While I do love the Everyday Witch Tarot it also kind of makes me feel old since many images are so young/playful (okay, I guess I AM old). But seeing that you like it so much gives me hope so I'll pull it out once more. xxx
Wonderful walkthrough of this deck Sadhana, this deck is on my wishlist for sure. Your explanations of it only made me want it more. The reading at the end seriously felt like it was for me, thank you ❤️ Also, I would love it if you considered doing a walkthrough like this of the Crow Tarot or El Goliath tarot. I was recently gifted those decks and would love to listen to your wonderful opinions on them, of course is possible. Thank you!
Thank you. I don't have El Goliath, but could do one on the Crow. I have the large, supplemental guidebook as well. It's a stunning deck and I find it works well with all kinds of clients. Happy to put that on my list. 💜
Integrative Healing with Sadhana thank you for considering! would also love to see what Oracle decks you pair with it 🙂 I wasn’t aware that there was a bigger guidebook that went with it, will look into that! Thank you.
Integrative Healing with Sadhana I will go further back on your channel to look for the video, and I don’t have those cards but I will look them up and take a look. Thank you!

It evokes a kind of freedom, hard to describe exactly. This is not a deck I use often with clients. ❤️
