Dear Student, Sometime the words dictated (especially in legal matters) contain many syllables due to which it appears that the speed is above the speed shown in the title. If you think that our speed is above, you may try to record yourself with the speed of 80 words per minute. To your surprise, you will find the same speed in your recorded dictations also. Apart from it, fluctuation is an essential part of the dictation. If you can handle the fluctuations i.e. slight increase and decrease in speed, it would definitely enhance the chance of your success in competitive exams as the exams are full of uncertainty and the examiner would never listen your appeal/objection about it. No dictator ever call punctuation marks and brackets etc. Don't feel bad but this was useless dictation. And about competitive exams they are accurate to their words so no need to object
Sir, Suggest me the right method of practicing shorthand to get high speed with accuracy. I used to do practice twice a day till 3-4 hrs but Still I am struggling for accuracy. Gammalogue and liftingwords are main problem.

The first quarter goes above 100, then it comes around 90 but again it goes upto 95 in between and finally u take it to 85 around.
