Many Thanks Marcia - I have spent MUCH time teaching our Rotary Club (about 100 members - the majority over 75) how to use ZOOM. It has been wonderful! THEY LOVE ZOOM and the ability to re-connect out of the 'isolation' - - but I've been running out of steam with many individual tutorials.... LOL. Your videos are SAVING ME! NOW - I ask them to watch your videos once or twice - THEN i follow up with them with a practice session. SO HELPFUL. Thank you
Hi, I'm enjoying your teachings on zoom however they all seem to be 2 and 3 years old. I cannot find some of the things you referred to in these videos. Can you do some updated ones? Would be so appreciated! Also more updated ones for mobile zoom app.
You're right my Zoom videos are 2+ years old and the interfaces have changed. I appreciate your request, but I'm currently focusing on tutorials for the Mighty Networks platform.
Thank you for all the help in becoming comfortable with zoom!! Your videos have been such a blessing. Now that I've been hosting meetings on a weekly basis, I've encountered a new problem with my first scheduled meeting. I can't figure out which setting I must have changed that told the invitees (who I said could join early with no waiting room) that they couldn't join because I already had a meeting in progress. Absolutely no one could join and I had to email a new link this morning, so we started later than planned. It did look like I'd successfully scheduled it (from what I could tell anyway) and the only thing I can think of is that I opened the meeting (by pressing "start") earlier than I'd scheduled it to start. Someone told me it probably didn't matter, but I wonder. Thank you for any help you can give, because It looks like I'm going to be the scheduler from this point on!
And I did delete the meeting before sending the new link, which worked fine. In my weekly meetings I send the link in an email about 15 min. before the meeting, but the group I'm in has asked me to send out the link a few days early....and I'm worried the same thing will happen next month.

Thanks so much for your sharing tips on Zooming. I do enjoy Zoom and their services. The comments on the flaws will have them better their services. I hope that Zoom will find its way to compromise their own benefits and their customers. I just hate it when zoom gets themselves involved with Chinese government. Zoom should know that their clients dont wanna get supervised by Chinese Government. I still enjoy using Zoom anyway
An error occurred when i share (as host) my powerpoint slide with a participant, his powerpoint slide reflected a dark horizontal shape on top of the slide and a rectangular shape beside it. Unable to erase/delete it from my part.
I was using the Annotate to draw the shape, save it and it appears in the participant share screen. However, i have deleted the files but the shapes still appears to be a permanent fixtures on the share screen/participant screen.
I used zoom once and now I keep getting this alert show up that say DO you want ds1506.awmdm.com manage you zoom cloud meetings? Do you know what this is?
Hi ! I'm guessing you need to update to the latest version. I strongly recommend keeping up to date with the lastest Zoom version - especially right now as they work on security changes.

Hi Lucy, I haven't heard of that before. I wonder if it was some strange glitch. Could you see the shapes or only the participant?

Can I prevent the participants from recording the meeting
