Me: Ice. Jowlcrusher is such a fun looking gun that I will make use of every opportunity to use it. And that shell is so big that its weakness to ice is really easy to make use of.
The reason that sometimes he doesn't flinch properly, near as I can tell, is that the pierce shots are hitting his chest rather than his head so he plays the chest flinching animation instead of the head flinch/collapse animation. If you trip them both at approximately the same time but with the chest being tripped first it wastes the entire head flinch.
@@silence_ark You're right that the head is huge, but it's the nature of Pierce shots that some of your shots will hit inopportune hitzones. I'm not suggesting that Pierce is the wrong decision, I'm offering an explanation for the differing flinch behaviours.
Tbh the real reason wasnt the hitzone more so than it was the fact of overshooting the flinch threshold and with a slower reload I wasnt overcapping while brave was loading faster during the flinch downtime and I would essentially overcap threshold. Theres still times where theres a threshold reset tho and not sure if its on rage or something else but doesnt seem right.

I'm getting a bit more used to Type 1 Bowgun Controls now... I have to ask, since you use Type 1 which makes you aim where the hunter is facing and not the camera, how do you do the quick turn/aim when I monster is behind you or somewhere else? Do you just use the Target Cam to pivot or something? It feels so slow when I try to adjust my aim, so I'm having a bit of trouble.
I have a set with Chalenger +2 Atack up s Pierce up Weakness split Critical boots I can make a set with shot booster the question is it its good for now to hunt? Thanks

Head hitzone is way bigger than how it looks like. In that case Normal 2 ammo would be a better idea and the fastest TA runs use Pierce Ammo.
