I think they wanted to make the fielding, batting, bowling and umpiring in the lower stages to look like this as this is how most of the times it is during the lower levels.

@@4lzio310 will only be tested once the career goes to pro level. Because if the umpiring is like this throughout, it is game breaking. That's keeping me from buying the game for now. Will wait for patching and see where it gets to.
I'll never forget a game I had at u18 level for my province, I opened the batting and my team just collapsed around me and we were playing for a draw. The were ten overs left and they needed two wickets and our number 11 literally couldn't hold a bat. I basically smashed the ball but the umpire gave me not out, I was so shocked by the decision but turned around to retake my guard grinning. We ended up drawing the game and I made 43 of 311 balls 🤣

I was playing for my school against another school
We collapsed in the first innings 115/10
They did 326/10
And on the third day we drawed the match(we have three day test matches)
I made 29 of 329
And my batting partner made 24 of 224
Haha. Both you legends should have a statue at the school entrance. The other teams bowlers should go there everyday and taka a bow!😂😂
We have all had at least one match we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Mine was here in India, in a freaking helipad. 😂

Cricket is not mainstream here but I had the opportunity to play in college and after as well. A lot of respect for the sport and community! Can’t wait for my Cricket 22 to load. That’s what I’m doing all day tomorrow

I will never forget the game were I made a 173 of 322 balls and took my team to a tie with 1 wicket left.

Looks like the batting style you have choosen for your player causes him to drag the back foot out of crease when playing a drive with bat swing going all the way.

if you did the tutorial you would know that they purposely miss calls so you can Challenge. South Hobart is probably saving their challenge for something bigger then just a Wicket off a missed swing.
Ross and Aleem Dar have the same umpiring style: blindly.

My Clause of Cricket 22 till now.
1. Running animation doesn't look good , eg fielder chasing the ball
2. Helmet is lit bit shining which is annoying, u could match the helmets from C19.
3. Need stadium creation and scenario mode Otherwise what a brilliant stuff 🤩
4. Fielder randomly teleports 15-20 feet.
5. Batting animations are still below cricket 19
6. Running delay. Like the batter runs literally after the non striker reaches half pitch.
Why is batting so easy, like i play on pro and medium settings in cricket 19, but with same difficulty i can hit a century in 30 balls in cricket 22 career mode.

The toss animation seems similar to that of WCC2(a mobile game), especially with the umpire's animation.

Now I'm thankful that I am getting this game for Christmas so all the patches can role in before then
i think that run delay means that you can just hit and run becuase i always made runs by hitting the ball straight to mid on or mid off and running getting singles which won't happen in real games of cricket, so that run delay probably stops you from doing that so you have to hit it into the gaps. That's what i think.

Looks like it takes longer to start running when your characters doing an animation like on one knee for a sweep. The non striker seems to take off a lot quicker so I think they’re trying to be realistic.
Man this game is so slow compared to 19! Running between the wickets, playing shots etc, hopefully a patch can sort a lot of stuff out! Love what they’ve done with the bowling but the batting is tough to get used to, mostly the timing 🤦🏼♂️
Eventually this game would be better than cricket 19. But even though i have cricket 22, I’d prefer to play cricket 19 for about a month so
A) most of the issues would probably (hopefully) be fixed)
B) I’d get latest teams and kits in community till then.
You can’t play a match where the non striker reached half pitch and the batter hasn’t moved yet. It’s frustrating how many times i get run out because my batter doesn’t want to move.
For me playing shots on the off side is difficult so I’ll just play on the leg side because the flick shot is frickin amazing. I play on pro/medium. So it’s better that way.

They need to iron out the delay for running between the wickets, don’t remember this either being an issue previously.
Honestly it looks more real like that than suddenly being able to sprint, I think a lot of it is to make you actually have to think about taking singles and 2s

@@danny89620 watch actual matches, they aren’t sprinting like lunatics the moment they hit the ball, they have to play the shot, see it, read the fielder and then run, it was way too easy to just take 2s off boundary fielders in 19
@@Alf763 maybe you should watch some actual matches. Players never stand still in their crease, they always take a few steps forward before deciding whether to run or not. Plus, there is a thing called a quick single, where the players are “sprinting like lunatics” the moment they hit the ball.

In career mode does the mitch settings actually change between matches? I think I have noticed that its always hard pitch

I believe that the delay to running is just because your players skills aren't good in it.

That is in the game. It was even in the previous games that he played.
You got a few things wrong in previous episodes. England's Domestic League, The Hundred is licensed this year as is the Caribbean Premier League. Also Sponsors are in the game this year, one of the achievements for the game is Sponsored Content, Earn a Sponsor in Career Mode.
How do you earn a sponsor
The Hundred is not England’s domestic league it’s one basically t20 franchise the county championship is the domestic league

Great to see the same old issues for Big Ant games... there are some cool new features but this still has the same old Big Ant issues (the overthrow crap, sliding over the rope/not flicking back, and I wouldn't be surprised if the AI edge bullshit kept happening). Pretty disappointing as well that you're still not able to have different roles for different formats (e.g. like Cornwall or Narine open in T20s but not other formats). Doesn't look like it's worth buying, but I'm still gonna enjoy this series!
I think you can do that. In cricket 19 I was a batting all rounder and would bat 5/6 in test and ODI but bc I just slogged every opportunity in t20 and had a strike rate of like 170 they would put me to open the batting. It was done by the computer tho, I had no choice in it (until you become captain and can change batting order)

I'm sure others have asked but as an Aussie seeing the scores written runs/wickets instead of the proper Aussie way of wickets/runs triggers me something fierce. Surely this can be changed in the settings right?
Yeah it can be changed. That was the first thing I did when I saw the overlay
