Thankyou so much yours is the only breakdown of this great song that I can get to grips with after an hour I had got the first three chords all ringing and sounding right I will not look any further your style of teaching for me is PERFECT👍
I think Dan’s method of the E to F# fingering is great. Maybe it is less technically correct according to some, but it is very fluid. It reminds me of the hand movement in playing ‘my hero’ acoustic, the E to C# movement/fingering that Dave does on the Howard Stern show. Very fluid, very natural. Not like the chord books tell us, but perfect.
Hey Andy, I've completed my begginer's level just by watching your videos. I actually have some problem with singing could you please make a video on how to sing along with guitar🎸
Andy, this is such a gr8 video, thank you! Gonna be my project song and I think I'll start your electric course as I'm a little lost at the mo. You deserve every one of your 2M+ followers buddy
Thanks Andy, that tune is just a happy ,FUN groove from the first note. As soon as i heard the line - I wanna kiss you every minute every hour every day... I KNEW it was awesome,SO once again thank you brother.🤘☢️🤘
Awesome Andy 👏😀👍 really enjoy watching your lesson's, sometimes spend all day watching & trying to learn more, your brilliant my friend, thank you so much
What's the colour and exact model epiphone you're playing; les paul standard, but is there anymore info as I haven't seen that finish on an epiphone before? Thanks
Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus in honeyburst. I think it's a 2008. It also has a Seymour Duncan sh1 pickup at the bridge, which helps with the paf tones 🎸
The ABBA song he's referring to is Knowing Me Knowing You, just before the final chorus. Funny, I've always thought that that bit from this song sounded like the ABBA song
Thanks! Victory Sherrif 22 amp, miced up at low volume, no pedals for the rhythm sound, tubescreamer for the solos. Epi has a Seymour Duncan SH1 at the bridge, which really helps with the PAF tones 🎸
Hi Guys, I own a Fender Strat and a Fender Mustang GTX100, does somebody have an idea for a digital pedal setting inside the amp to create this Darkness sound? Thanks in advance PEACE AND LOVE
You want a Marshall style or British Amp style preset on the mustang for Darkness rhythm sounds, perhaps a Mesa Boogie preset or Justin's lead sound (I think that's called “Tread Plate” on the Mustang if I remember right)
Andy.. You mention Amp settings etc on the comments further down and you say “ Minced up” could you please clarify what this actually means please..? Thanks NOODLES..
Schoolboy error about the Marshal stacks. Everyone knows that from space you can see the Great Wall of China and the stacks of Yngwie Malmsteen! Oh and his ego! :)
Love this band! Great catchy riff on this one. Can’t believe you haven’t made a vid on this before.

Having the chord boxes up at the same time is a great idea.
This is exactly what I need right now for my playing ability, I can't wait to dig in! Thanks for all the great lessons!
Fantastic lesson, I always wondered what that F# chord was.....very easy to follow and understand, thank you!!
Excellent as usual. You inspire me to get better.
This is my 2025 NY Resolution. I’ve had 1 lesson so far and have learned the intro. I’ll come back in 365 days and report back 🫡
Love it!! used to sing this in my band back in the day!

Brilliant tutorial video Andy your is definitely plus 3 string power chords unlike some tutorial videos on TH-cam 👍👍👏👏👏
Thanks Andy, that tune is just a happy ,FUN groove from the first note. As soon as i heard the line - I wanna kiss you every minute every hour every day...

Awesome lesson Andy, just what I needed, thank you. How have I not found your channel before?! Subbed!
I think your way is the best way to play the song
Yes!! Rock on Andy! Thanks for all of your hard work!
Do you have a tutorial out for Arabella by Arctic Monkeys?

Yes!
Great, beautiful song
Dan SOLO: 12:03
The Abba inspiration was from the song Knowing me Knowing you off the Arrival record
That guitar rocks!
Thank you so much for this lesson
Absolute classic
Andy please make an acoustic tutorial of the song Anastasia by slash.
Nice 🔥

Brilliant
Love it! 🔥 Rock on Andy 🤘
🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
Hello Andy, did you make a video on the other two solos in this song? Love the video by the way! Your playing is so technically clean. Very impressive
He did, it's a video called "Learn My FAVOURITE Guitar SOLO!", very search friendly but it's there😅
Yep - here! th-cam.com/video/FRhpW-t03qY/w-d-xo.html
Well done!
Have you got the link to the other 2 solos please?
Yep, I teach both here! th-cam.com/video/FRhpW-t03qY/w-d-xo.html
Can you do Mr Clean by The Jam please? One of my favourite riffs.
Hey Andy how do do the all string slide at the end of the bridge? I’m loving this tutorial but struggling with this part.
The ABBA song he's referring to is Knowing Me Knowing You, just before the final chorus. Funny, I've always thought that that bit from this song sounded like the ABBA song
What amp /pedals are you using? Great sound!
Thanks! Victory Sherrif 22 amp, miced up at low volume, no pedals for the rhythm sound, tubescreamer for the solos. Epi has a Seymour Duncan SH1 at the bridge, which really helps with the PAF tones 🎸
Love it!!!!
Very good lesson. What pickup you use, is it stock?
Can you do a cover or shout out to the devil by motley Crue

See some people play the E in the opening riff as an open chord instead of a power chord, never made sense to me
Andy.. You mention Amp settings etc on the comments further down and you say “ Minced up” could you please clarify what this actually means please..?
Thanks
NOODLES..
What happened to this band ,they were a breath of fresh hair and suddenly gone
They're still around, I'm seeing them in mid-November. Roger Taylors son, Rufus, drums for them now too!
@@andycrowley thanks for the reply Andy ,have a good concert
No, they’re still around
Drugs happened 🍄
Justin's got a TH-cam channel
I've just played to the official video and he seems to start on a G not an F#. Are they tuned different?
The original is sped up slightly. I found it best to find a live version to play along with
Is the intro considered a progression or riff?
It's a riff because the specific rhythm and the single notes are needed to make it sound like it does
Visiting hours just like ed sheeran
Reminds me of a super melodic steve jones
Pretty sure he said it was inspired by acdc right?
Rock band
🔥🔥🔥🔥
How come the original sounds way higher then this tutorial?
Why not just play an A power chord?
I know this is from 2 years ago, but great job and your fretboard looks a little dry.
Schoolboy error about the Marshal stacks. Everyone knows that from space you can see the Great Wall of China and the stacks of Yngwie Malmsteen! Oh and his ego! :)
The Great Wall of Marshalls
