How sad, Spirit going from a digital prison to a physical prison really didn't change anything, still imprisoned by the Dearest because of that deal he made with DD, knowing that even if he could escape...and make a new life, sooner or later the Dearest would find him.

The representation of what Spirit is thinking through the text as well as those memories are quite deep and very fitting in regards to his situation... forced to live a life that isn't his and only one fumbled note away from exposing himself and potentially risking his life, who knows just how long he can handle living like this until he snaps... it isn't the solution he wanted, but he can't go back now... he already made his choice and now he has to live with it... very tragic if you ask me. No wonder he's unhappy most of the time, but hiding it under a fake smile like the BF they know.

this represents of the mental shackles hes in even if he got out hes still trapped and its eating away at him and even though he posseses BFs body he is still no match for the dearests and he is forced to play the game by dearests terms and from the day savestate happen it was just the start of an even bigger hell
