There are many really talented young singers showing up now but Angelina stands out. Most of the others go through the mechanics of producing the song but Angelina brings connection and soul to the production. Many remark on her seeming to have an "old soul". I guess that's as good an explanation as any. So many of the others are really wonderful singers and they can belt and hit high notes and control their voices amazingly. But, (you knew that was coming) they are missing something. Most adult singers can't bring that special something Angelina has that makes her songs so compelling.

When I listen to her on this song I hear a Bond sound track a scene from one of the movies where he's driving on his way to rescue somebody or stop the bad guy that would be great if she was on a James Bond film sound track. Why alot of people aren't on her music is in my mind is because she not here in America look at courtney hadwin from the UK, for her it was a big difference when she performed here if it comes from America more people notice that's what I think.
The thing with Angelina in addition to her magical rich voice is that she understand that less is more. Just because you can doesn't mean that you should, and she knows this. She dos not growl in every song, or go for the big drama and high volume, she interpreters the song much more deeply and delivers heartfelt renditions without the flash and bang, instead being subtle in the way she chooses to use her voice. One reason I think she is still quite unknown is because she has smart parents who wants her to have a good childhood without to much celebratory factor. You can see that they do not push her to be older then she is, she dos not ware a lot of makeup, she dresses like a adolescent, she still waves and says bye without considering this has gotten comments about her being childish. In the Valarie video you see both the teenager and the child in her in the way she plays in the sand, and in the The Show Must Go On, the mask is probably painted by her little sister and it is not sophisticated but instead of going for an adult look her playful personality is allowed to shown. I am so glad her parents let her be a child as long as she wants, and that they let her linger on the brink of adolescent and lets her keep the child part of herself as long as she need without any kind of pressure to be little grown up. With her old soul voice it would have been so easy to push her to be an adult way too soon.

love Angelina Jordan i can listen to here all day. She was supper at age 7.
When I listen to her on this song I hear a Bond sound track a scene from one of the movies where he's driving on his way to rescue somebody or stop the bad guy that would be great if she was on a James Bond film sound track. Why alot of people aren't on her music is in my mind is because she not here in America look at courtney hadwin from the UK, for her it was a big difference when she performed here if it comes from America more people notice that's what I think.
The thing with Angelina in addition to her magical rich voice is that she understand that less is more. Just because you can doesn't mean that you should, and she knows this. She dos not growl in every song, or go for the big drama and high volume, she interpreters the song much more deeply and delivers heartfelt renditions without the flash and bang, instead being subtle in the way she chooses to use her voice.
One reason I think she is still quite unknown is because she has smart parents who wants her to have a good childhood without to much celebratory factor. You can see that they do not push her to be older then she is, she dos not ware a lot of makeup, she dresses like a adolescent, she still waves and says bye without considering this has gotten comments about her being childish.
In the Valarie video you see both the teenager and the child in her in the way she plays in the sand, and in the The Show Must Go On, the mask is probably painted by her little sister and it is not sophisticated but instead of going for an adult look her playful personality is allowed to shown.
I am so glad her parents let her be a child as long as she wants, and that they let her linger on the brink of adolescent and lets her keep the child part of herself as long as she need without any kind of pressure to be little grown up. With her old soul voice it would have been so easy to push her to be an adult way too soon.
And in Valarie, I am curious why the Seagulls are all next to her looking at her ? ? She must have just fed them ? Or they like her ? Just curious .
SHE'S NOT THAT UNKNOWN ..HER FACEBOOK PAGE HAS OVER A BILLION HITS AND SHE HAS ALMOST A BILLION HITS ON TH-cam...i think she is just been protected by her parents from greddy record companys who want to turn every young girl into complete slut and whore and then throw them away like a dirty rag when they finnished with them

Very well said. Could be too she not only sounds so unique but is unique, natural and down to earth. Most of these singers today are too over the top, all trying to belt out the highest notes. Just listen to all the knuckleheads in the audience when they scream during a performance on the voice or AGT it’s all about who can scream the loudest. Angelina is on a another level they’ll never know.
