I can not wait until you release the tutorials, my husband wants to help me with crochet but he is not coordinated enough. So I got him a Sentro to make hats and ear warmers. For the new blanket yarn that light blue one would be good for stingrays too
I hate to say this but my husband isn’t good with the knitting machine either. He doesn’t have the patience for it. He just wants to spin the drill fast.

You literally crack me up! Love your humor! I really hope you do a tutorial on your awesome turtles. I never see anyone do tutorials using bernat blanket yarn it's always parfait chunky or chenille home slim. On a side note, my sister uses the t-shirt yarn to make baskets. They turn out pretty cool. Anyway, enjoyed the video!

I have the gloves with and without grips. They are better for different things, but they do help with pain.

I have compression gloves that have similar gripping. I use mine at bedtime after I have finished crochet as I find the yarn doesn't flow as smoothly when you wear them. I will definitely be looking for ones that are grip free.

OMG! I would have bought the Red Heart Black and Gold yarn. That is my son’s favorite color. I ended up getting blank hobby lobby yarn and gold tinsel thread and crocheted it together.

My favourite tool to help decrease forearm tightness is using a cold full can of pop, beer, etc and rolling it back and forth up and down my forearms

I have watched a lot of your TH-cam stuff recently and I was going to ask if you were ADHD but then I decided that would be rude. You just answered that question in this one though. We are so recognisable to each other 😁 I definitely identify with the ideas (and a million other things) swirling in my brain.
Yes we are 98% sure I am. My brain does cartwheels everyday it’s a good time 😂
I use Handeze brand gloves (the dome company), I used to get them in Rite Aid’s first aid department. No grippers, no fingers and come in 5sizes. Look them up online for pictures.
Also, Hobby Lobby has that expensive fuzz shaver on clearance at the moment (July 2024).

I don't crochet for a living, so I get to rest when my wrists hurt. For my secular job, I work with my hands. When my wrists hurt, I used wrist cuff supports. They're usually one size fits most, as you velcro them to fit. Perhaps they would work for you, too?

I just ordered a 48 needle sentro yesterday, can ear warmers and youth sized beanie hats be made on this machine? Great video btw, really looking forward to more.

my 2 sentros and Addi have BROKEN with red heart yarn. I REFUSE TO USE RED HEART YARN ANYMORE lol. BUUT I figured out how to get it to stop skipping for me. After SLOWLY getting to the point where you can close the bottom, pull the bottom yarn TIGHTLY. (almost snapping it but be careful not to.) AND ADD WEIGHTS TO IT. ( i use my phone, several jars, a hook bag, and anything else i can find. NO MORE SKIPPING. That's my solution and when i'm done i pull out all my weights, finish it off, and (depending on what your making) either keep it closed and use it for the crown to a hat or open it back up and its like you never pulled it. But remember if you DO this you MAY get variation in tension. If you have one of those old timey knitting machines that come with weight clips, maybe use those instead! (bec i cant do my method until abt 30 rows in, tedious but it gets the job done) i hope this helps~~~
the bottom yarn is referring to the tail left behind while you start casting the stitches onto the machine. you should be leaving it pretty long (i personally leave mine abt 6 inch bec i dont mind cutting and weaving the end in but its up to u personally)

I'm in Australia and don't have Red Heart yarn but I put clips, think chips clips or clothes pegs, on evenly around the bottom when I get to about row 10 and I don't have any problems. Hope this helps.
Very excited for the knitting machine videos!!! I like your content and for some reason all the other tutorials only half do it. They always just go "You've made a hat" but don't take it off the machine and I didn't want to make a hat! I want to make other things!!!

I was just wondering what size knitting machine you use for your headbands. I think I have the bigger size and I tried to make a headband, but it came out way too wide. The size I have works perfect for hats though.

Take care of those hands now before it becomes worse. Hopefully you do hand stretches every hour or so. Yeah thats a thing :) Its very important, trust me, I learned the hard way. Anyway, you do great work!
